GGs to Hold Dat. I've been looking forward to playing you for a while man. The last time I played you was maybe a year ago, lol - probably even longer. Anyways, thank you very much for that long set. I really enjoyed it. You've got a really solid Ken bro, and I like that Alex too! What did you think of my Hugo? He's my main, so that's why I used him more over the others. I was just foolin' with the other characters, but I didn't want to bore you, so that's why I chose them. I gotta keep workin' on it though ... take care man, and thanks again!
you pick my ken apart with hugo and then thank me...lol good shit. its been way too long since we had a set. those walk up 720's are scary as all hell. i used other characters also cause i dint want to bore you with ken all night either. but trying to get in close with alex was really hard you know the matchup against ken and alex really well. lets try not to make so much time go by before another set. i need....WANT revenge lol !!!! gg's

yea really gg's to you deviljin i can see the skill and it's scary. the only reason i was taunting was becuz the rounds where i started off taunting were the only ones i won. lol. so yea... think it had something to do with it. my best try at mind games. but trust me, if we were playing at a better time when x-box live isn't so laggy we'd have a better connection. i get damn good connections from both coasts, just depends on the time and person.

I only taunted 'cause I liked how you did the air reset with lk and ground cross-up'd me =) Then there was that other thing you did and I taunted again for the same reason, although I don't remember what it was -_-;
Also, GGs to Exodus, multiple times I felt like I was in a "Test Your Might!" situation, and failed to come through >.< Was fun stuff as usual, wish you'd get XBL on at your gf's house =(

Tj capcom187, although I'm saying gg's here I'm also giving myself the benefit of the doubt that maybe you were pist off at me. The last couple times I've played with you in the past I remember you saying some hostile things to me over the mic and right before the last game that I left I couldnt tell whether you said "hate playing with shity ass players" or whether you said "hate playing with shitty ass d-pads" that last word you muttered under your breath so I couldnt tell, in any case I am always trying to play with a positive attitude and usually if anybody exhibits signs of any kind of hostility over the mic I book it.
Poppyjr. well the 16 or 17 games that we played were pretty fuckin awsome but then the lag really got bad on my end :bluu:. like 1.5 - 2 seconds. But once again awsome games and look forward to the next time. :lovin:
Darkimmunity I know you only play a few matches so you can try to adapt to different play styles but I had fun.

They were VERY fun but VERY laggy. I would have quit out long before that if you were most other people. Our matches are usually lag-free so it was kinda disappointing. We were missing shit like CRAZY! Anyway, we'll do better next time!!

Well everdred has a totally differnt style of playing remy then me. It'd be a hard to say who is better. But what I can say is that everdred has a ton more experience with remy then me. I don't kno if you heard but everdred left to go to the army = ( so online is out the window for him. He only played online for a short time because he was staying in Florida and there were no arcades around. He needed something to hold him off until he returned to CTF.
I have a american stick that i can use the headset on but i tend to miss quite a few things on american stick when useing remy but i'll be down for dudley mirrors with headset = ).
I don't kno if you heard but everdred left to go to the army = ( so online is out the window for him.Fock. Oh and don't worry about playing on the Ameri-pad. Those things are so terrible -_-; My Dudley has gone to shit but I don't mind donating a set to improving him =P

Ggs to Exodus & RPD rookie, :rofl: I told you guys I suck at this game now. 2 months will make your execution turn to a mushfest. Dang it Exo, I thought I had you when I red parried out of Remy's Supreme Rising Rage Flash, I attempted to end it with a Megaton Press :xeye: but ended up screwed it up. It was nice getting a set with the two of you again. Perhaps after I finish beating Odin Sphere & Valkyrie Profile 2 I'll start getting back into 3rd Strike again. Playing you two today was the most fun I had on 3rd Strike in a while... dood.

Your Yun is looking pretty sweet, the GJ sequence is getting much better and looks to be doing the most amount of damage given the certain situations I put you through :lol: Saw you missing stuff as well, but that's XBL eh =\ I missed out on the chance to perfect the damn s.Forward -> SRK didn't work >.< Good stuff though =)

then i played another ryu both use blue gi..connection was soo bad and i can tell hes not reading me.so after he won i waited then left..if the person is random or shitty connections i just leave. i wont play.. You did excellent with Ken. Don't take any offense to it, but the only reason I left was because there was A LOT of lag on my end - I don't know about yours. If you noticed, I wasn't able to punish you on anything. It was impossible at times. For the record, it must have been like a second and a half of lag. We'll play again for sure, don't worry about it. Take care man.

Sup guys, just started playing online on the 360. I cant believe how horrible the 360 controller is for fighting games! And im not about to buy that 80$ converter. Im used to playing with the ps2 controller. Too bad they dont have a ps2 converter ONLY, like on the xbox, instead of paying 80 bucks for that universal one for xbox 360. Anyways, my Xbox Tag is KinkyNurse. Hope to see some of u online!

WhoWeAre, good set. Connection was really good this time. I remember last time we played the connection wasn't all that great and I decided I wouldn't play with you anymore. Things have changed or it was just a good time of the night or something. I was able to play without a hitch the entire fight. Felt like offline play. I liked some of your mind games with Hugo but I know Ibuki is a tough match to work around. Urien did better though and almost won a few fights. Might wanna ask Sandybags for some Hugo tips cuz I'm near clueless. :lol: I would say just learn what you can punish with what after a successful block/parry and generally you're going to have to block a lot because it's risky to parry some of Ibuki's stuff. GG's though and we'll play again.
GG's yaISH. Good long set. I really liked your Necro. Had some of those top tier mixups/resets going on. SA1 Necro is really annoying to fight against. It's like I know I can beat some of his pokes but that super will eat anything I do. I was basically doing a lot of whiffing attacks to bait the super and I tried to force you to waste the super even on rounds when I knew I was dead. Just so you wouldn't have it the next match. Playing a good bit vs. Eric Kim's Necro helped me learn the match. I learned I can't use EX qcb+K against Necro because he can reverse with Electric Snake no matter how far away you are after block. Too good.
I like how you switched up with a lot of characters. Made good use of Yun's pokes and Chun was just annoying as all hell. Her pokes make it tough for Ibuki but once I get in I start to feel better about the match. s.HP is scary sometimes. Covers like half the screen length. She's also the one character (I guess other than Ken) that I can't touch air to air. LOL @ u using Charcoal Urien. Dude is so dark it's a good thing I have a good tv to see his ass on. Reminds me of those fugly color edits from CVS2. Your poking game with Urien is really solid. Was tough to get in at times but once I get in it's usually GG's unless I get c.HP'd. Then I die. Oh and Ibuki mirrors were fun too. Did some magical shit in those mirrors. Red parrying and dashing out of SA1 was fun. I dunno how I didn't kill you in our first match. Ibuki's throw range sux.
Oh and LOL at you winning Judgement in the first match. Ur a scrub. :lol:
HoldScrub: GS. Again...connection always gets worse the longer we play. Was still able to do things here and there but I was amazed everytime you were actually able to do short short super. I'm sure you must have just mashed in some of those confirms but it's Xbox Live so what can you do. Still fun and you're still aggressive as ever. You throw a ton of meaties on the wake up. Gotta stay in my low block for sure vs. you. If you tried a few UOH's here and there I really would have been in a rut. Didn't know what to do against Ryu. Connection got too bad by that time and just kept getting hit by c.MK to HK hurricane. Couldn't even look out for it. GG's any ways and we'll play again.

DevilJin, it's been over a year, maybe 2 since we last played =\ You've gotten a lot better =) I love the mix-up. I hope you don't mind the throwing, I hate using wide overheads so I just did what was faster. 70% of the time when I tried to poke into an overhead you'd mash a c.jab <- gay. I'm still not 100% with my Ibuki yet, it still feels weird to use her without triggers and 2 new buttons for my thumb =( But again, very nice mix-up. I dunno why you don't ghost out of the corner like you did that one time and just go on full beast rampage =\ Fast counter thinking is where the fun is at =)
^Oh and thanks for breaking my connection for the rest of the night -_-; I think the hackopponent'sxbox code went something like:
1.) Pick Red Ibuki 45 times~
2.) Pick Green Ken 2 times (and get owned)
3.) Voila~, your opponent's connection is absolutely fuxxed for the night.
Edit: I completely forgot you were the cheese master -_-;
Also GGs to Onyx. I dunno what you were saying over the mic man -_-; But I know it was laggy, I understand the leaving. And PS: I found a character to play against the both of you :badboy:
I dunno who else to give ggs to =\ I played Free Super for 3 games but it was really laggy as well =(

I know you like to parry, but like Deviljin said...sometimes you leave yourself open for things like my jump-in Hugo SA1. F*$k u for being so good :)

WhoWeAre, good set. Connection was really good this time. I remember last time we played the connection wasn't all that great and I decided I wouldn't play with you anymore. Things have changed or it was just a good time of the night or something. I was able to play without a hitch the entire fight. Felt like offline play. I liked some of your mind games with Hugo but I know Ibuki is a tough match to work around. Urien did better though and almost won a few fights. Might wanna ask Sandybags for some Hugo tips cuz I'm near clueless. :lol: I would say just learn what you can punish with what after a successful block/parry and generally you're going to have to block a lot because it's risky to parry some of Ibuki's stuff. GG's though and we'll play again.
Thanks, I appreciate it. It was slightly laggy on my side though, but I'm not complaining, because you earned that set fair and square. I was trying to parry a lot of Ibuki's moves because I knew which were coming, and which weren't, but the lag held me back on that one :sad:. There were times where I thought I had you man, but I just couldn't end it, lol. It was a really fun set none the less; quite enjoyable. Urien was my brother, and he is much more skilled at 3s than I am, so that's why he was able to get further than I did. He just happen to walk through the door after I signaled you last and I was like, "Hey, you wanna play Deviljin?". And he was like, "Alright. Sure!". But my family and I were actually on our way out, so that's why he only stuck around for a few matches. Good shit, I enjoyed it man. GGs all the way.

HoldScrub: GS. Again...connection always gets worse the longer we play. Was still able to do things here and there but I was amazed everytime you were actually able to do short short super. I'm sure you must have just mashed in some of those confirms but it's Xbox Live so what can you do. Still fun and you're still aggressive as ever. You throw a ton of meaties on the wake up. Gotta stay in my low block for sure vs. you. If you tried a few UOH's here and there I really would have been in a rut. Didn't know what to do against Ryu. Connection got too bad by that time and just kept getting hit by c.MK to HK hurricane. Couldn't even look out for it. GG's any ways and we'll play again.

GG's Ashbury Elite. BEST CONNECTION EVER! I rest my case; Lag is Urien's fucking kryptonite. Connection like this comes along and execution was a non-issue. Both rounds finished up with 90 on the clock. Would've been double perfect had I not blocked a fireball, and traded hits on a late AA Sphere. Best connection I've ever played in. Fantastic stuff. I could tell you weren't liking how things played out, by the long pauses at the rematch screen. I picked Oro and spent a round practising anti-air parries into chicken combos. You took both rounds, taunted then quit. LOL. Accept the FR man! We should play again. Good stuff.
GG's Our Twoism. Sorry about the shitty Necro. Really enjoying playing him lately. Great stuff playing your Yun, in spite of the connection. Would love to play him again if things are smoother. Cracking effort on the Chun SA2 red parry :karate: XBL hates us both :lol: Shame we don't get a better connection. You play a really nice, honest game. :tup:

Not on Xbox Live. Good players will punish your parry with reaction super any ways. Try to hit them after the parry...GG's. Not that they would be able to do that on Xbox Live. Chun is tough to beat when she has meter. Even parrying her is risky. You need to get solid hits in to win once she has meter.
For me...I just can't play Chun online. The way she works offline is too meticulous as far as timing and being able to punish things. She can't AA as effectively and you have to resort to doing dumb unnecessary stuff like df+HK overhead to win matches.

As a matter of fact I would go as far to say that's it's near impossible to play a good Chun on Xbox Live unless you have a good connection. She faces the laggy Necro syndrome where she has just enough overheads that aren't that good offline but good enough online where she can use them as part of her regular game. Which is where you get all of the regular Chun scrubs doing d.MK to hcb+K special all day and they think that's cool or a way of innovating Chun's style of play.
When you watch high level Chun play tell me...do you honestly ever see much else than HP HP HP c.MK? That's because such a simple pattern works so well at taking care of the majority of the cast's ground game. You have to work really hard just to get around that and Chun still has many other good but less necessary pokes and a sick kara throw range. Making such a simple task work at high level play can be tough since everyone's seen it before but good players know how to make it work and shut out your game before you get started.

I played Nuki just the other night and he was trying that B+HP shizzle and the C.MK into super nonesense. I beat him down until I was bored, then set him right with :df: + :hk: xx SA2 and random EX SBK. Now he's beasting. Look out for him at SBO :tup:

I just figure if I'm going to play against a great player like yourself, I want to give you a good showing... as close to 100 percent as possible. I couldn't do it in that environment. Like I said, we can try again and I'll be 2nd player.
Deviljin: omfg ibuki. Very unpredictable a lot of the time. I definitely need practice against her. After awhile you can see some of the tick mixups, but it's still hard. Thankfully she takes damage hahaha. And your Alex is super strange. You turn it into an anti air game lol. I approve of your originality. Why have we not played more often? Your ibuki made me sweat (and the heat in my apt :cool:). Ggs man.

Good stuff. Seems like you caught on a bit better but I messed up in our first few fights. For some reason my stick didn't want to cancel into super after I threw the kunai and I lose an easy first match because of it. Then I just got lazy afterwards and weren't even realizing you how much better you were playing. Probably had something to do with my stick not staying in place on the floor. I lost the mat that I usually use for it at Evo so I ended up having to take a mat from the dining table. Not quite as sturdy but it works.

Deviljin: omfg ibuki. Very unpredictable a lot of the time. I definitely need practice against her. After awhile you can see some of the tick mixups, but it's still hard. Thankfully she takes damage hahaha. And your Alex is super strange. You turn it into an anti air game lol. I approve of your originality. Why have we not played more often? Your ibuki made me sweat (and the heat in my apt :cool:). Ggs man.
We haven't played more often because I only started getting back on Live recently. Mainly because it's been almost a month since I've been to a tournament so I need something to pass the time. By next week though I'll need to get adjusted to my Japanese stick again (which I can't use on Live anymore) so I wont be online after this weekend.
Let's definitely get more games in before then. Your Remy got better the more we played. Zoning game is pretty tight. Remy's hit box has really weird properties. Sometimes you think you're right in range to attack him and he slips out of the way. Dont get much experience with that matchup so it's always good to fight him. Hugo and Alex was fun too. Alex is my secondary character so I'm not bad with him but clearly could be better. I find it really hard to turtle with him (I just like to get in like I do with Ibuki) and generally it's not as easy for Alex to get in as her and you have to wait it out sometimes.
GG's also to SneakyEW. Sean vs. Oro was fun but the lag spikes were messin up my Oro game. Good stuff with Sean just like before.

I picked my character and then I waited for a long time for you to pick yours. Then you had me waiting AGAIN for the super. Crazy reflexes on all the shippu reversals against my sweeps. Folks will definitely be impressed with you play. Shame about mine :lol:

I agree Louie Swe. Brittish Justice has solid execution, but his gameplay is lacking. He tries for high risk exhibition combos one after another. I've won rounds against him with nothing but block, into throw. If he could work a little bit of patience into his Makoto and wait for mistakes, he'd do well just with punishment combos.
As is, he takes huge risks constantly.

hehe okay ya'll.. well, i know what combo you used, its a reset in it, and you are able to parry it in midair (its even easy aswell) ^_^ so you cant afford to miss that parry otherwise you're fucked :I
oh and, i wasnt really SPAMMING you were i? i sent first 1, then a 2nd after a while but okay. ^^

However, if you managed to hit some wacky full screen SA2 by chance, and follow up with that combo, then that's bullshit. Massive risk, potentially blobs a whole bar and leaves you vulnerable if blocked.

no no not at all lol i started with the Karakusa > H.p so it wasnt no jumping heavy punch and it was a reset combo. also the last SA was performed when ken was still in mid-air.

Please don't ban me. :xeye::cybot: I'm not in the know about the details of how GGPO is ran. That would be something you'd have to take up with Mr.Wizard or inkblot but at the moment, I don't think they are allowed to speak on it.
As for the people getting banned, it's mainly because they are asking how to obtain or how to set up roms & emulators. From what I know, owning an emulator and roms is legal only if you own the game, not an XBOX or PS2 version but an actual CPS3 arcade version:

I've been pretty pissed off with the game and my broken Magic Box adapter lately and my gameplay is just garbage so apologies to everyone I've been playing against.

GG's Rage. Connection was just ridiculous man. Even defending myself was a struggle. I dunno if things were quite so bad from your side, but there was nothing I could do against jumps. I was working 110% trying to keep you out with Chun but as soon as you took to the air you could tick your way in for free. Very frustrating. My tolerance reached it's limit when I couldn't even get Ryu SA2 out to punish Shippu. Excuse me if I cut the sets shorrt in future where the connection is that bad. It becomes pointless from this end :sad:

our Twoism: The one thing that pisses me off a bit is people I push back into their corner just throw me into it. All the work that I put into pushing you into a corner is now fuxxed. You do it, That other Red Urien (his name escapes me atm) does it, and RPD does it a little too >.< GGs though, pretty solid Urien execution you got going on, although I did see you miss some stuff =P
