Your Shotos (Ken in particular) were pretty good. I think if you make more use of your supers and ditch that risky dash C.MK xx Hurricane, you'll lift the ceiling on your game way, way up. Very good set. Thanks for sticking around even though the connection was giving us both grief. :tup:

GG Musashi. Nice parries and max damage on your offense. I'm wanting to learn some Twelve myself, and SA2 works just alright against tall characters like Q or Hugo. SA1 is supposedly better, but I can't do the :qcb: :p: into SA1.. at all. SA2 is more fun anyway. Max range B+MK into MP/ EX groundspikes seems to work alright, though. Better than low LK into wild punches, in my opinion.

Haha... I sometimes mistake block for hit, and go for the "hit-confirm" anwyay... haha. I'm just looking for parries, it seems.

I know there's ample time to confirm the hit after the wildpunches, but I just can't do the command motions quickly enough.


But you'll have to work extra hard to beat Ryu or Ken with Q :tup: :lovin:

It helps to keep a more open mind by playing other characters and not limiting yourself... that's partly why I play Q or Twelve sometimes.. just to mess around and play the person, and not the opponent's character. Maybe that's an online thing.

Speaking of mic battles, I was talking to victorny on the mic the other day. I wont even get into everything we were talking about. But one of them was his taunting at the end of every round. His response was that it gives your character benefits like in improved strength, stamina etc. i was like it only works "during" the round, you can't do that shit after the k.o screen. You can't even build meter after the k.o. screen lmao. Come to find out that he lives like 20 mins from me. I asked him to meet up offline and I got no response, the flapping of the lips came to a abrupt halt and there was nothing but dead silence for the remainder of our set lmao

No man I'm not gonna argue with you. I do tons of dumb shit online because I like to try this shit because it is only online, in the end I don't care whether I win or lose which is why I'll pick characters I can barely play as like Twelve (which I don't think I got around to playing as). Shit I sure in hell won't try most of this shit when it's for my quarter at the arcade. Now I can explain some of this so called "xbl scrub shit", a lot of it was due to the way you were playing and it usually felt like my only option in order to keep you grounded and since it's hard to get out of a lot of Makotos shit I will spam lp or try to srk out of it, if I super it's on accident but I'm always glad it happened. Also because you, FFA Followers and I think a couple of other people jump around too goddamn much and it causes me to change my game (usually a lot more scrubby) and it will usually cost you matches. Now I think the final record was 15-10, me, but let me see if I can explain any of this.

Alex: The flash chops are to try something I just realized at the arcade the other day. Almost no matter how far away you are if you get hit with a mp or hp flash chop you can <-- Hp (choke) them right after. I was fighting a fantastic Alex at FFA and he new the exact times to use that shit and I would run into it every time, so that's what I'm trying to work on right now. The air stampedes yeah I used excessively and you punished me for it once you caught on, generally when I go to the arcade I only use it maybe 3 times a round unless I see a good opening for it.

Akuma: I won't admit to spamming hurricane kicks because I don't think I did. If I knocked you down then I would do it once or twice over your head so you would get hit by it when you got up, same shit I do at the arcades. The one thing that I do too often when I'm playing on xbl though is that I wakeup with hk hurricanes, I usually will do mk if I do wakeup with it.

Chun: I don't play her like most people. I don't really give a shit what her game is. I'm not a patient person unless I'm playing in the arcade. EX spinning bird kick I'll usually throw out when I'm about to lose because no one expects the shit, they expect me to be looking for the super and since I can't hit confirm worth shit online I'm not going to bother waiting to see if I can low parry something. The bird kicks work as long as you don't use them waaaaaaayyyy too much like Fly Gamer who is complete shit with Cunt Li.

Dudley: I usually won't do Fp that much unless I really think you're going to jump.....and you did, works offline just as well you just can't throw it out as much (3 max usually). Lp mgb works just fine as long as I'm not fighting Chun, one of the shotos, or Yang. Yeah it's not wise to do it against Makato either but I was just waiting for you to jump into it which is what I usually use it for and you did it a couple of times. Not a tactic I'm going to change because I don't get punished enough for it. Online or in the arcade.

Hugo: If I'm fighting Yang, Yun, Ibuki, or a really bunny hopping Makoto then yes I spam those lp so fucking much because those characters are just too goddamn fast and they jump around everywhere so in order to give me some room I use lp. Normally I don't play with Hugo like that but against people that are jump crazy I have to. The body splashes were for you jumping. You usually got hit my two of them and then you would keep your ass grounded. I never mash 360's because I figure most people are ready for that. I probably missed a lot of good 360 opportunities because for the last week or so my 360's have been off, I usually just jump on accident.

Ken: Meh, I figured you would jump more, but you didn't. I got my wins with him but yeah I don't srk that much.

Makoto: She can go either way. I will get no wins or I completely destroy. I expected you to jump after the first hayate so I would throw out another. I think she was the only character I didn't get a win with. I can play her better but not really against Makoto.

Necro: Never got a chance to try any of the corner combos on Makoto but that's what I was going for.

Urien: Yeah I'm bad with the shoulder tackles offline and online. That is definitely the one thing I need to work on The knee drops I normally won't do but I try to time them so that they won't hit and then I will do lk-->headbutt. And the headbutts I see no problem with doing because for the most part I won't be punished, at least I rarely am punished, offline or online.

Like I said most of this shit I don't do offline. I play completely different when I'm at the arcade because I don't feel like losing there. What happens if I lose online...not a goddamn thing. And trust me not everything I do online is worthless offline a lot of it can still be used it just depends on what character I'm fighting against. I'll be more than happy to play again but if you're basically playing the same way, (Especially against Hugo I hate it when people run for a whole fucking match, still a fun challenge though, just annoying) don't expect much change from me.

It's funny you mentioned me (glad to be remembered). Said3s, turtlepower and I are all from the same town. LOL! We even used to play all on the same name with the same stick some nights.

Yeah, I didn't like the connection myself...and the fact that all you kept going for (What It Seemed Like To Me Atleast...) were those Medium Kick Cross-Up's over and over...I was kinda like, when will it stop?! I apologize if my Makoto seemed to abusive, as I've been taking SF And Pro's and Brit-Brit's advice on maintaining a really agressive Makoto...I've spent a good year and change practicing parrying and getting it down effectively in my matches and playing a semi decent defensive Makoto...but I find that, those didn't win me matches...therefore as of late I've just pressed the Rape button and am going all out...

Hopefully you can fix your connection by the time the next time we play.

Funny thing with ooDISCIPLINEoo... I joined his game, selected my character and was getting ready to play, when I spot an insect on my couch. So I put the controller down and throw it outside, while he's beating my character and drops. I join again and he declines. Sent a FR, challenged him 10-20 times, and he's still upset.. haha. GG.

GGs Rage: I was getting really frustrated during our game because of input lag. I would do a certain move, and then something completely different would come out. I was so pissed that I was slamming my joystick many times. You played very solid and I really wish I was able to compensate for lag to give you a better fight. I was only about 60% because of control issues. Hope to play you again soon before I quit Live for good... and it's probably for the better because my connection sucks so bad for me nowadays.
