yeeeah good shit 2 kickassguy.....something ive noticed quite for a while now.........if u cross over for example ken while sweeping with medium kick....which kickassguy did 2 me u can mp hp in ex shoryu.......or do what i did 2 kickass and be like crossup medium kick into mp hp fdf hp into sa3........not to many people gamble at kens cross up game but if landed right the punishment is quite fancy and nice...........

You will do more Damage if only do the crossup medium kick into mp hp into SA3 or crossup medium kick into cLk,cLk,SA2 or Just crossup medium kick into hp,fdf hp, into SA3.

J Musashi: haha ;) and ye man ofc, i know Cyrox well, that little kid XD he's one of the top stockholm players (im in gothenburg) and he has a quite solid yun. i use to go to stockholm a little now and then to play my mates up there, they have a good standard so its good practise!

its so annoying i missed that tour, i heared it was a bunch of ST and CvS2 players there! (thats MY games >_<) that even asked for me, i even knew some.. i dont know why i didnt even hear about that god damn tourney otherwise i would have been there for sure, seemed really really cool, esp. if you're a ST/CvS2/3s player like me ^^

I could tell u knew your stuff with yun so it was so annoying to have the lag act up. Man i was caught in at least 2 or 3 genejin that the lag completly screwed over. Ill host the games next time though, i can tell your a good player so i for sure want some games.

How many times did I try to parry your empty jump in and got thrown? :looney: Teching with kara throw is not a good idea either (or is it just my imagination? Often I could have sworn I hit the buttons in time, but still ate the throw). Nice Ken as always.

J Mushashi: yea ggs,was fun.. and yeah, thats what you get when you try to parry to many jumpins ;) i went for the throw lol... thats a mistake actually a bunch of players does, they try parrying to many jumpins, that way you can get alot of throws..

i talked to cyrox, he said he saw one of the Q players hanging with a makoto player, that was you? and he said also there were 3 Q players and 1 of them was a bit better than the rest, was that you aswell? ;)

Yeah :). He told me that he likes my Q...,but I don´t know why...I was playing like I completely forgot how to play the game. Maybe because I couldn´t find my ps2 3rd strike and thought one night (arrived friday and tournament was on saturday)would be enough to adjust from xbl to ps2 offline timing. That was a big mistake. It was so bad that I seriously thought about quiting 3rd strike. I was playing Q with almost no supers, no parrys no kara throws...nothing worked. e.g. I jumped in, hit with fierce and than just stood there for a second till I realised that the super won´t come out. Stan (the makoto player) was always like "what are you doing man, I thought we´ll meet in the final" ^^. Well, he got 3rd and I didn´t even survive the groups :sad:.

ggs final freeza, what little games we had were really good, dunno what happened with connection, i was getting spikes of lag, for 2 secs at a time. no offense but i hope it wasnt me :) i guess it timed us out

i appreciate the reinvite mate, but it kicked me out again, im gutted, you owned me that game and the matches are really good. :( i hope u do get the win count then too cos it kicked at a point where it may not count. (i even took a photo to show what happened, now thats sad)

Yea GG it was a bit laggy thats why I played like I did. I havent touched the game in about 2 months. So Im a bit rusty, good parry defense thats why I had to throw you like I did. To get big, I ate a lot. Played basketball for cardio, did 150 push ups a everday and normal workouts at the gym (3-4 a week).

Was I supposed to switch it up more?GGs to you too, I taunted with Hugo a lot in that last set trying to get you to quit running away/meter charging and come after me but it didn't work. The taunt at the end was kind of accidental though, I was still in "Come after me mode" after I had won that round. Great Games Mechanica, Damn those were some fun matches dude at least when the lag wasnt kicking in :sweat: you have some very good mixups and I kept falling for them :wgrin: . Hmm.. yeah i saw you miss the midscreen unblockable a couple times, I cant really be too sure whats going on but I buffer the forward input like a second before the super animation ends and the hit back with kick as soon as its over, you also want to execute your dash as fast as you can becuase less time spent to execute the dash makes it less likely that you will lose your charge.

P.S. - Damn you and your f+mp reset into mp aegis then just throwing me. Hahah, I forgot about that mixup, I was all ready to parry a EX aegis or block a 50/50... I used to even use that setup, too.

Anyway yeah, I'm down to play you whenever... don't feel like you have to use other characters if you don't want to. I kinda get that feeling now because all you single-character-players are starting to mix it up against me character-wise and I feel like it's 'cause of my bitching. :rofl: Plus I'm more used to switching characters all the time so I tend to have the advantage... but then if I pick my weaker characters against whoever's main I tend to get wasted. Got really fucking frustrated and gave up as you could tell... then I realized my god damned nephew was sitting there streaming youtube video after youtube video and stressing out my connection. Ugh. Hope you didn't ditch the FR 'cause of my play (or lack thereof) that match. I want your shoto bitch ass to throw me 10 times with some c.lk's mixed in there and stuff sometime. :D

Yeah, the short short-accidental uppercut felt good to punish because I'd make dumb mistakes too and you'd punish 'em... Usually harder than I punished yours, though. It's hard for me to deal with someone who parries so much and uses such annoyingly well rounded characters like the shotos. :lol: Even with the messups you still confirm shorts hella well. When you get risky you tend fuck me up 'cause I get used to playing weird and kinda risky to get over your well-timed parries. :looney: Good set man.

honestly, IMO kaillera is not all that much better than xbl. In fact In a lot of aspects its worse then xbl. I had heard from so many people that the lag was minimal to none and it has just not been that way AT ALL for me. In fact not only do some matches have about the same amount of lag or more... but theres always a high possibility of being desynched which is just.... annoying beyond description.

COULD have been my dad (we got alot better connection now so ppl can do stuff while im playing, i dont know if he used alot of broadband so it may have been abit wacky) but first two was like to me, e _VERY_ good connection, so it looks like we can have a nice connection afterall :wgrin:

Louie GG's bro, and you're right about those first 2 games they didn't lag at all and that kept it more intense than the other games. Still I think it was a really good connection considering that I live in NYC. I feel the same way about lag also, I will usually miss about 3 gj's:confused: and I can't afford lag to constantly do that to me. Your host is also better than mine for sure .

Your Ken could use a lot of work, but your Chun Li isn't bad. I think you were turtling just a tad too much and not going on the offensive enough. You play so safe and block low so much that you get caught by overheads and UOHs all day long, and you seem unsure of what to do when you get stuck in the corner. I got on the mic to try to give you the best tips that I could during our set, i'm not sure if you could hear me or not, but you should try to punish shoto fireballs with Chun's SAII. You sit on meter too long and oftenly wouldn't use it before the match was over. I threw alot fireballs against your Chun, because you weren't punishing them, which is something I don't normally do against Chun. Her SAII flies straight through projectiles and you need to work on confirming Chun's Super a little faster, because a lot of the times that you'd hit then try to cancel into Super your Super would come out really late and I was able to block it and then parry the last hit and counter with my own c.LK x2 xx Super or c.MK xx Super. You were unable to win a single match against my Ryu (Ryu is my main), i'm in the process of learning Necro as my 2nd character and your Ken & Chun Li vs. my Necro matches were about 50/50 and then you seemed like you were starting to get bored/tired of playing against my Necro. I'm learning him, so I appologize. :sweat: When I tried to add some variety in my character selection by choosing Akuma for 1 match and then Oro for 1 match you destroyed both of them, so I just stuck with Ryu for the remainder of our set and just tried to give you the best tips that I could over the mic. I wanted to play as Necro more, but you started randomly doing Chun's Taunt which led me to believe you were tired of my Necro. lol :sweat: My Necro gets no love. :sad:

Disclaimer: I'm in no way, shape, or form a veteran of 3S or SRK, i'm pretty new here at SRK and to 3S actually, and I lose quite a bit to the higher ranking players, but I thought i'd try to help you as much as I could by just going by what took place in our set lastnight. I'm a terrible Ken player and i've never played as Chun Li, I just know some things about them because I play against a lot of Kens and Chuns. So i'm pretty sure that other folks here would be able to give you much better advice for Ken and Chun than I can. I'm just being friendly and trying to help some, that's all. :smile:

I tried mixing it up, I tried getting in close, but it felt like everything I did got stuffed. :sweat: Thanks for stopping all of the spam-taunting after the first match when I got on the mic and identified that you're a SRK Member too. :tup: And I appologize if the crappy connection after the 8th match was caused on my end, as far as I know nobody was doing anything on either of the PCs here, so I dunno what could've caused that unplayable connection later into our set. :sad:

Not to make any excuses or anything, but in all seriousness I feel like i've been playing bad the last couple of days, feeling like i've been unable to perform at my usual gameplay. I think it's due to a combination of possibly playing too much lately, currently going through female problems (women... /sigh), and having connection problems or X-Box problems. My game has been pausing/slowing down randomly before, during, and after matches except when I played with Fog N1nja today. I'm not sure if it's my X-Box, my connection, my opponents connection, or what's been going on, but this kind of stuff (game pausing/slow down problems) usually doesn't happen to me. I've still had fun getting my ass kicked by War Turtles, Fog Ninja, and LagAbuse today though, but whatever is going on with 3S LIVE I hope it stops/fixes itself soon, because that's just one more problem stuck in my head and driving me up a wall. Maybe I have just too many things on my mind at the moment?

I dunno if you got the same message, but just to let you know I didn't drop. I don't drop on people, did you possibly drop? I'm not sure what happend, but things have been acting really weird for me these last couple of days on 3S X-Box LIVE. I haven't tried out other games yet on LIVE to see if the problems are just on 3S or to see if the problems are caused by my end of the connection. Whatever has been going on online on X-Box lately I hope it fixes soon and if it is on my end then I appologize, same goes for anyone else that i've played lately and this has happend to with me.

lagabuse, the games were pretty laggy and you were able to adapt to it better than me. I had too much problems using Yun under those conditions so I picked ken. You're really good though I hope we can get a better connection next time.
Connection was okay on my side, it had hiccups but all in all not too bad for me. Explains why you were using Ken a lot and stuff. My memories of you from my last gamertag were a pretty tricky Ibuki that would tend to leave after I won like twice. Maybe we've always gotten bad connections, because I always remember you never ever playing real sets with me. Never bothered to ask. We should play later at night or something.

Yeah, GGs man. You played well, I've just been playing people better than me all day 'til I got to you so I was still in cautious smart play mode... Don't worry about the "drop," that shit happens to me in every single set. My disc's scratched. A fuckload of my losses aren't even losses. My music tends to, halfway through the first round, either completely cut out, or play the same half-second of music on repeat for the rest of the entire match. It's really distracting actually...
