I was expecting the worst with the 'bad' connection but it turned out quite playable thank the lord! Those Fei games were really fun man, nobody on my FL plays him so it was nice to see another style - I like the way you poke with his Rekka's.

Your chun was nice too, I kinda lose my gameplan during the turtle fireball moments so you'll have to excuse the randomness.

Dunno what it is but I can't get cr.lk, cr.lk, super anymore with Ken. I either go too fast and get a third short or I go even faster and miss the second short altogether and get a blocked super :sad:

Off-subject : my last Hori Ex2 stick bit the dust over the weekend. Anyone ever try Arcadeinabox.com? The have what looks like a nice stick for the 360 for around $150, which is about at the upper limit of what I could spend. Just wondering about the quality.

Man I like SF but I dont think I want to retrain myself to play a stick.I like to hop on a few hours a week but Im not hardcore here.I wasnt that great with stick back in the arcade days anyway.But I remember when it came out on SNES I absolutley couldnt play pad and bought a stick controller.It was made of plastic and really light though so i couldnt get used to it and trained myself on pad.
For SFHD I might have to though,hmmm.I just cant believe that we are this far along in the 360's lifespan and there are so few controller options.Microsoft has a hard grasp on any and all third party accesories and it pisses me off.They wont even fix there own controller and put strict limits on other companies producing products.Even the PSP recognized they had a messed up D pad and addressed it somewhat.

I tried to not rely much on my noggie trap in that match up. But, it is all he really has against a wall diving Vega! BTW.. you mix ups are getting nice with that super! :tup:

Yeah, I actually had the same problem with picking Ken in the match I had afterwards against Dream Theater. Only - since I only really play one character - I got pretty much ruined.

Strangely random lag ruined some of the fun but it was great as ever to play you guys again. Chun is a fun matchup and it's interesting seeing the different styles you guys use - one thing's for sure though, her j.lk is a bastard of an AA.

I was having quite a few issues playing properly with the 360 controller, as you probably noticed when I experimentally brought out Zangief and was completely unable to hit 3K, and only able to hit 3P about 50% of the time :D
...and I'm sure as hell not sacrificing one of my normals to assign it to a button. Zangief needs those damn normals.

Stupid shoulder buttons... I need a stick...

Couldn't do hooligan rolls properly all the time either. It's hard to tell exactly where the diagonal is on the damn thing so i kept mistiming my punch (or kick with Fei Long). Accidentally jumping forwards into a DP is always fun!


Also stupid Ken and his ability to do reversal supers in this version... bah! :D

Yes,yes,yes I think I have finally found a decent 360 dpad controller.:woot: Its not perfect but it is very playable and puts the 360 dpad to shame.Its also got the classic t style as opposed to that crappy circle thing.

After one online session,I am very happy with it.And if it turns out to be kinda cheap and breaks in a few months,its 25 bucks.So not too bad.I highly recomend to anyone who is frustrated with the 360 dpad.I am also excited now for SFHD knowing I will have a playable controller.

Ah, sounds like there were multiple problems then. My internet connection is definitely jacked though. My ping times are all over the place, and I seem to have a high % of dropped packets. They're sending another guy out tomorrow...

I've tried MAME P2P and NFBA a couple of times recently. They both seemed like they'd be pretty decent. But with my crap connection, it's hard to say for sure :sad:
