Now that season 4 has officially kicked off, I figured I'd make this thread for my favorite show on HBO.

I can't believe they got through filming the movie in Colombia in one episode. I was sure they were gonna stretch that shit out for at least 3. Oh and the girl in this episode was so fucking hot I watched it twice.:rofl:

This episode flew by quickly. It was enjoyable and different. I'm glad though it's over with. They should be in LA.

i love entourage. however i agree the show should be in LA. i enjoyed s4ep1, but i'll be happy to see the boys back in town. however as to the foreign language box office question - what about the passion of the christ? pretty sure that did more than 60 (by about a factor of 5 domestically, 10 world wide). so i'm not sure about that stat.

so what are some of you guys' ideas of where the series is going, mine are.

vinces movie is not gonna be good in the box office, and he will be poor this season, living off drama and his new show. i think this would be good to have a change of "main character." plus drama and turtle are godlike.

Medillin is gonna be like scarface, bad in the box office but will be a cult classic and pull in the dvd sales, in season 5 and vinny will be back

But This first episode of S4 is pretty decent considering Ari is only on camera sparsely.

Bumping thread, because this show is too good to not be talked about.

So what's everyones take on E's stance against Walsh? During this last episode, I personally agreed with everything Ari was saying to E about stfuing and putting pride aside. But from an objective standpoint, I will admit that this whole build-up foreshadows the official failure of Medellin somehow. Walsh all of a sudden coming into Ari's office looking for representation, driving that fancy car he says belongs to his girl's dad, and his erratic behavior on Medellin seem like a recipe for plot disaster.

For me the show is still pretty damn fresh, despite what some people (IMDB forums) have been posting about the show. It definitely has not regressed and lost as much steam as Lost (what a tragedy, because I love Evangeline Lilly and I would trade body parts for her). I figure, the writers have at least 2-3 more solid seasons of behind-the-scenes Hollywood juice + famous ppl cameos to weave into the show to keep the pace.

I agreed with Ari too until E said "I think his best years are done, he's passed his prime and he ruined Medellin." It's not just about him being an asshole, it's about him being an asshole who possibly ruined a great movie and will likely continue to ruin movies. I love the Billy Walsh character; I think he's hot, hilarious and and very well acted. I hope they keep him around for those reasons, but I think Vince and Eric are in for some shit on the next movie.

I really hate Vince. He's the most boring, one dimensional character ever. He just stands around smiling and spending money and standing up for his friends and "doing the right thing" in general. We get it, he's a good guy. :rolleyes: And every time Billy and Vince are on a scene together Billy reminds us how beautiful/amazing Vince is. So fucking homo. No one is that fucking perfect, the writers need to give him a coke habit or something. He hasn't had a personal conflict other than being broke since what, the Mandy Moore saga?

last episode was hilarious. the furry costume part was the best. so far i think this season really good. i sorta feel like something might happen between vince and e though. between the whole walsh thing and e not wanting to do the next movie i feel like e might start distancing himself from vince. i could be completely wrong though.

I couldn't agree more, the Turtle/Drama conflict drives the show. Honestly, I think the entire show is broken down into:

1)Ari's crazed home life
2)Vince and E managing Vince's Career
3)The Wacky Adventures of Drama and Turtle

Also, the blond british girl that Vince was with was so amazing...:sad:

What did you guys think about the last episode? The three girls that Turtle brought over were all pretty hot. Hell, that thick one that was pot hungry was fuckable as well. For a desperate motherfucker like Turtle you would think she would be an acceptable lay.

they need to do something new to keep the show from getting stale. walsh takes over another script? they did that with queens boulevard and medeillin already. i actually like the side plot of drama. turtle is still turtle but they should do more with him like when he was managing saigon. ari and lloyd are still golden though. i agree lloyd should get some sort of promotion. overall there isnt too much that's interesting with this season that they havent done before.

^I did too. I liked this season overall, but the last 5 or so episodes haven't been very interesting with the exception of Ari, Lloyd, & Drama. In my opinion they need to get some multiple things going on with each main character. Most of this season was just a shitload or twists & turns and ups & downs with Mediene, and I got bored of that by the second one.
