I recently got music change for the PS2 versions of Marvel vs Capcom 2 and Capcom vs SNK 2 working... Would people be interested in me making a tutorial of how to do it?

Oh, I've never done it before, I didn't realize the other tutorial was for DC, my bad. (Should have realized when it said "self-boot").

I just saw this thread and remembered there was a thread for changing the music in MvC2.

So yeah, a tutorial for the PS2 would be nice. Does it work on any other games you know of? Wouldn't mind changing the music in PIM2 (because I hate the music in that game.)

I did this for MvC2 and Spectral vs Generation and they both work fine. It didn't work for SVC Chaos but oh well that game sucks ass anyway.

It'll work on any game that uses AFS files and adx files for the sound.

I tried this one tutorial:
And at the very last, when I put this into my PS2 to get it working (Swap Magic no less), it got all the way to a black screen and...nothing.
I have no real clue as to what's going on...I ain't wasting no more CDs till I get some help.

Can anyone help a brotha out, please?

I have been trying to work on that, too... But the files for the effects wont open up unless I have the same software Capcom uses to make them. Soon, maybe...

I'm sure the music is still in the same filetype... You can probably use this same method, and then burn it like you would any other backup.

*sure needs some positive rep*

I'm lazy.
I just tried out Steve F's tutorial.
But I can't exactly test it right now cause of damn roommate stuck on Halo 2...
but more than likely, I might screw it up again, so I'll have to wait till the TV is free in order to test. Your guide is a bit more clear than that of the last one I used...
