In order to use the DOA4 XBox360 stick with FinalBurn, you need to install the XBCD drivers.

This should also fix the "button stuck" problem.

Is anyone out there using a regular xbox 360 controller to play on ggpo? I am having trouble getting mine to work and could really use some help. Any tips people might have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'm assuming your controller is not wireless and has the USB connector. Try the drivers that can be found off of this page (look under resources on the left menu, hit downloads and enter the info they're asking for).

I used these for a Mad Catz controller inside my crap stick, but supposedly this will also work for the first party USB controllers as well. Under FinalBurn make sure you selected Joystick1 for Player 1. Hope that helps.

well, i could never get the xbcd driver working for my doa4 stick. so what i did. is i just manually configured the sfa2.cfg file and figured out what switch number correlated to which button on my stick. i obviously got rid of button 6 from the cfg file, which is the RB button. it took a bit but i figured it out and im all good!

I modified my file manually through trial and error too. In case anyone else runs into problems, you can cheat off of my settings

Open up sfa2.ini in the cfg folder and change these settings:

input "P1 Coin" switch 0x4014
input "P1 Start" switch 0x4019
input "P1 Up" switch 0x4001
input "P1 Down" switch 0x4002
input "P1 Left" switch 0x4003
input "P1 Right" switch 0x4004
input "P1 Low Punch" switch 0x4011
input "P1 Mid Punch" switch 0x4012
input "P1 High Punch" switch 0x4013
input "P1 Low Kick" switch 0x4010
input "P1 Mid Kick" switch 0x4016
input "P1 High Kick" switch 0x4017

This lets you put coins in with the LB button, start with the Start button, and all the punches and kicks are as they should be.

See you online :karate:
