1) open internet browser
2) you need to know the ip address of your router, the default that will work is 192.162.1.1(this will work on most linksys routers, not sure about other ones) type this address in the searchbar. When promted for username and password, the default is just to leave the username blank then type admin for password. (this will be different for some if they already made a username and password)
3) To set the ports there should be a section called applications and Gaming(might differ for other routers) From there you want to be in the port range forward menu option from here you can set the ports.
4) it should be pretty straight forward from here. Have TCP as the first protocol and then start will be 7000 and finish will be 7000
then skip down and select UDP as the next protocol and have it start from 6000 and end on 6010.
you will also need the rest of your i.p address entered to.( to find ip address, click start > run then type cmd.exe then enter ipconfig this will give you your i.p address)
Enable both ports and be sure to save settings. Thats it.
