View Full Version : No button to accept challenges :S

Everytime somenoe challenges me the challenge image comes up but there is no button to press to accept.
From the looks of it the box has been resized since the "here comes a new challenger" gets cut off at the end.
Anyone else have this problem? I can challenge and fight other people just fine.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled and still the same problem.

you should put this in the bug thread, this is the alpha version so there are gonna be alot of bugs

did you try reinstalling the .net framework? just a guess :X

Here's a possible fix/workaround, try clicking the small area between the two gray lines like shown:

then hit spacebar

Just press Enter, the Accept is highlighted as default.

If you want to refuse, I donīt know, maybe esc, or tab then Enter.

yeah sometimes mine wasn't auto-highlighted, specifically if I recieved more than 1 challenge the focus wouldn't shift correctly

There's not way to stretch the box out from the corners (first thing I tried when this started).
Just pressing enter also didn't work and tabbing then enter failed aswell.
Time to post it in bug thread.

That's really weird. Do you have large fonts enabled in your OS? Are any other parts of the UI similarly effected (do you see the Cancel button when challenging someone?)

I use tahoma font and it's pretty small in size tbh.
I can challenge others quite easily, and the cancel button comes up.

I only started getting this problem when I installed v0.15.
The rest of the GGPO UI is perfectly fine and I can play others perfectly aslong as I am the one to challenge.


Update :: I just changed my visual style back to default windows XP and now I can see the accept / wimp out buttons.
Still can't work out why my current visual style, aesthetic groove (http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/13763164/), is causing the accept / wimp out buttons to dissapear.

Where there any changes made to the "here comes a new challenger" window from v0.14 to v0.15?
