No, don't make a habit of doing that...GC4 at 2C makes 623x whiff and gets you owned up. If you're gonna do it, do it sparingly... :wonder:

Ken already got to it but don't spam that. I do it out of bad habit, because not enough people punish it but her 2a2b2c is punishable if You get the timing on the GC right. Ken said 4GC but I usually get hit from 6GC either way its not something you want to use all the time.

Also once you stop running 2C all the time be very careful of her range. The spot just past where her 2B misses is very dangerous for her, her attacks will whiff but most other characters will still be able to hit her because her limbs are so much shorter.

Somebody already gave out her basic BnB but I'd just like to add that it depends on her Arcana.

If you want to want Hyperhal's vids of me dropping combos its mostly because I was Arcana hopping the whole day.

Fire and wind have air supers and special that will connect after j.C so you can do more damage with j.c into another move at the end of a combo.

Water and lightning don't have anything else that will connect so its better to use j.2C to knock them to the ground and set something up afterward

Also her 360 grab combos after j.2C but not in every combo from my experience. It does more damage but you lose the ability to setup a super or call bubbles etc. after your combo

For a little more damage though try
2a2b2c, 623b, 6GC, 5b, IAD b, dj.bc,(land) j.ab, dj.b2c

For Kamui's section on the wiki, the combo listed doesnt seem to work. A Uruma, 6HC, 3B, j.B doesnt seem to connect unless you do airdash j.B right after 3B:

Yes the HC is needed after uruma. you'll be in hit stun/opponent far away after ur uruma hits the opponent therefore you're not able to continue with 5A and 3B

It's interesting to note the variety of Arcana options. Part of the reason why this game is so appealing is because of the "extra" element you have to consider when playing against a character.

It also makes the port really fucking annoying because it's all written in an ancient foreign language. The VS. screen can't be skipped, and it actually repeats itself on retry. Hopefully soon I won't want to kill myself after hearing that music a million times.

Other than those two minor sources of hemmoraging, this this is an awesome port!

The Kamui BnB does work, I did it. What you have to do is this: 2A, 2B, 2C, 41236+A, HC6, 3B, Jump forward jB, delay for 1/2 to 34/th of a second, jC, LAND, DASH A TINY BIT ON THE GROUND, cancel it into 3B, then jumping A, jB, jB, jC, 421+A/B/C/ or super version or 22+A/B. Sometines the 421+A/B/C/ whiffs and completely misses the character, be careful everyone. This game rocks! Les. doesn't seem to be too bad, her puppet combos that I'm copying from the vids. are not hard to do. I can do some wiki things later today (after school around noon-I hope) Just give me some time if I'm not on it right away, my Grandfather just came home from the hospital. =/

Yeah with Time Arcana 6HC turns into a dash across the screen, so a huge portion of the regular BnB's won't work because of it.

Instead you get these combos that go directly into the 'time ball (236236D)' and then the combos that follow them so that you keep your opponent in hitstun as long possible so that at the end they end up frozen in time right infront of you, a time loop if you will, leaving you to do that shit all over again.

1: Yes. Kira has a different hitbox than the other girls and as such you'll have to simplify your loops to keep her in the air.

Try this:

2A, 2B, 2C xx 623A, 6HC, 5B, IAD jB, slight pause, jC, land, jAB, jAB, j dwn + C.

Midscreen you have to leave out the 5A in most cases after the HC. In the corner you can do the regular combo pretty much, plus an extra 5A xx 623 A/B, 6HC for big damage.

I don't think that's the point he was trying to make. Wiki's are done in an organized fashion, and Sabin may have a specific way to organize his info; people editing and uploading info at the same time can mess that up.

What he meant was that you should wait till he's finished making the base of the wiki, and then add your info.

I can't get that thing to land anywhere close to midscreen. The HC either doesn't travel far enough, or they drop before I get to them. It isn't easy in the corner either, but at least I land it more than 0% of the time. Also, is that Heart's bnb? Every Heart match video I see involves people using this combo almost exclusively.

Also, should I use any other jump in than b? I would think that jumping 2c would act as an instant overhead, but I can't get it to come out quick enough.

After you iad with AC, you'll need to do a 66 C to close in the gap between u and the opponent. 2c is also another way for crossup pressure. You do not need to rely on b all the time. Even A could do a cross up.


As for what heartnana says, 1st line for 3rd option is the gauge design (ゲージデシン）. Iｔ just turns the guage to either blue or pink. On whether you select arcana heart or arcana heart full.

Also in case no one found out, hold L1 plus the 4 buttons will give you the alternate colors of each characters with the O button being A X button being B Triangle button being C Square button being D.

Ive tried this on many characters, they can tech out of it if theyre either too high or you're doing it kinda late. Try jumping immediately after you land.

Yeah, I like fire so far Lang-Gong and Gier seems to be really save, i'm on the fence about lightning. I tried Partineas, but i prefer Lang-Gong over that. Haven't tried bubbles at all though, i'll give that a try, thanks!

immediately press B when you jump, so its basically this; on the way up hit B on the way down hit C, land on the ground and hit B. Repeat.

I think Saki is more popular than Heart here in the states.

samurai - read wiki in the first post. And any character can win. Fiona is a bit on the lower tier side, but she can still compete.

Well two things, either you have to double jump to get the last two hits, or instead of doing 6D 5A 5B, do 6D 5A 6B. That way it'll be easier to get all the hits in.

Once you get that down, try and learn the IAD B&B because it's pimpin.

Saki is one of the 3 easiest chars in the game if not the easiest as for arcana i havent decidf myself what to use with her im using lighting now but im thinking about switching

Saki is as just stated one of the easiest characters to pick up. She has very easy and damaging combos, as well as a great super that you can spam in any situation and then get free damage off of it.

Konoha, you're basically trying to use her speed and mobility to the fullest. She also is very hard to hit as well, and her normals are very good. She can do decent damage, and do that damage very quickly. She has two pretty good supers, but they are not needed for her to get damage, which is also a plus. You'll be using meter with her for the arcana supers pretty much.

As for Arcana choice, just play with whatever one you feel comfortable with. Pick the one that best fits how you want to play your character pretty much. I've seen Heart, Water, and Plant Sakis on youtube, but most use bhari though.

Well Lilica was my main but then I didn't want to deal with the headache of doing all of the motions, so I picked up Saki to get a better feel for the game and it worked. She's pretty easy to learn, but just because u can do combo's with her doesn't mean you'll just get them every time on someone. She has her ups and downs TRUST ME, so you have to learn her matchups against multiple characters and arcana's. I've used her with 3 Arcana's so far, and the best one I like for her is lightning. But I also used her with fire and wind. Wind is ok but I mainly use that for fun, I'd say fire would be better off than wind, but it's totally up to what you feel comfortable with. Oh plus don't forget that wind pushes you back instead of guard canceling forward. That can be good and bad in certain situations.

are there any drawbacks to doing them? The cpu always air techs, so I try and punish with air super throw or donovans foot super but I either miss them or get piddly damage off them. considering all the ways you can air tech I dont see why people dont do them more often. I mean people will sit and eat 80 hits and just not tech. In the rare times they do tech they usually don't eat much damage. I'm obviously missing something here.

youre susceptable to airgrabs for the first few frames of airteching. This holds true for walltech as well. This is one reason why Kira-sama is so godly. Don't tech vs her in the air. Just.....don't. Or if you must, you had better back the fuck up with a homing cancel.

teching off the ground leaves u susceptable to grabs too, but the difference is, u can input a special during the tech window, they cant hit u with normal attacks, but they can def grab/supergab you.

Japan was too good for teaching me the fundamentals of DAT ARCANA for sure though. Glad to be back.

When I do Konoha's 2A 2B 2C > 623A > HC6 > 5A 5B 6B > j.A j.B > dj.B dj.2C in the mid screen the 623A HC6 5A never connects. I can make the combo work in the corner and make it work mid screen without the Banish Punch though. Am I Homing Cancelling wrong off the Banish Punch?
