I've gotta suppress my hype for the game somehow, so I've been attempting to watch match vids today(I hate watching match vids if I'm not in it). Theres a lot I already know, but some of these vids gave me ideas for things I'd like to try, so next time I play theres definitely some news things I'm gonna be trying. Lets just say I've found a way to increase Yoriko's range. :rolleyes:

I don't talk shit, it's that nobody believed me when I said I was good, peoples be doubting my skills at all times. But come tomorrow I'm gonna prove my status and it's not gonna be pretty. I wish I could go to sleep now and wake up at the arcade, thats how hype I am right now. :rofl:

So when is philly having a team tourney so me and Nas can take everyone's money for free? If it's illegal for us to team up, then I quit Arcana

EDIT: Her super isn't a problem Shintoller, because Yoriko can do her super right after Kamui's and have them trade. The thing is, Yoriko takes no damage while Kamui suffers a little bit of health

That water grab works in both directions

412369 and 632147 WHY? the hell if I know.

Also how do you hoiming dash faster? I do it all the time by accident and I keep seeing it in vids.

it works both directions cause the command is "360" so as long as those inputs come out, then i guess its good.

What do you mean by homing dash faster? Show an example of what you see in vids and i can tell you.

oh btw i was talking about this in the #arcana room last night...the japanese STILL dont think that there are any AHF cabinets in the USA, and they (well the ppl that posted on the J-bbs) think that i'm a foreigner who is living in Japan, they refuse to believe I got to this skill level in the USA. :looney: haha

BlackShinobi: yeah idk what you mean but...when you HC, you automatically get cross the screen faster in the air as opposed to the ground if you HC with the stick @ neutral, you will FLY at them. if you hold F, you will hc on the ground, which is slower. Rock automatically travels across the ground at a slower rate than all the other arcanas (but you get super armor.) however this makes a lot of ground combos impossible (which is why you only see Kira using Rock for the most part.) If you HC on the ground with time, it automatically does a full screen dash only for that arcana.

some other random notes about hc/gc - if you guardcancel backwards, you are in a airborne state for a second when you head backwards until you head back to your original position. this is how some characers can do gc into instand overheads, and this is why kamui can combo into air super etc.

if you hc on the ground, you can buffer any input you want as long as you are holding the button down, i believe this is how saki players do HC into flashkicks so well since shes a charge character, and this is how kira players can HC into command throws etc.

Well I leave for Evo in 2 days and I can't wait. :lovin: After it's all said and done, I'll be focusing on Arcana Heart again. I still watch recent vids and read strats while I'm not playing the game, so I don't stay out of the loop. Uggh, HALO3 comes out next month too so.... that might OWN me more lol!

I'm tired as hell(Nas is still at UP playing), but I gotta tell you it's getting serious down here.

It's apparent that I can use any arcana and make it work for me, which I think is a good sign overall. The two arcanas I'm going back and forth over is fire and plant, although I found myself picking plant a lot more(vampire Yoriko is too good). Playing Nas is REALLY good practice, because rushdown becomes "think about that shit first or get 5C'd," which helped me think of more mixups to mess around with/playing safer and smarter. It's funny how well water works even though Yoriko has no need for it, whenever I play against Eric water seems to be a great counter against him. I really like the water grab too, so I guess that adds to that arcana.

Eric is getting better, and me and Nas are practically the same(maybe I'm SLIGHTLY better, but not by much). When Eric left we both had some great games, figuring out new shit and getting out of each other's traps, developing new ways to put the hurt on foes. Dave ended up picking Heart and getting pretty nice with her, although I think he needs to stick with one character and learn their BS.

Justin(peskypurple), one of the other players here plays Saki. He has the rushdown mindset, and he can get the crossups consistently, but he just needs to perfect his combos and stop dropping them like a top player. He psychic flash kicks all the time, it's kinda sorta a less annoying version of Yoriko's DP.

All in all we're definitely getting better down here, and it's not gonna be free come NEC team tourney. As far as it's going right now I can see Philly's lineup:

as you can see the match went exactly how i wrote it.
i had a scrub against my partner and played a SOLID as fuck team first round.
partner got raped then i had to play against rob 3.0 (

notice in my match how rob 3.0 carefully forces me to let go of gier
jump at me then doublejump backwards..sometimes attack making me guess when to let it go

i get a knockdown round 2 into gier setup but rob 3.0 uses time immediately to get away from the gier setup...i can let go early but i need to anticipate what hes thinking

and yeah basically first round i fucked up one guardcancel and its like gg thanks for playing
2nd round i did a lot better but i still lost
and i LOVE how torwards the end of the match me and lilica both do 2a and she wins i dont even get a counterhit

bah now you know the level of comp i play against compared to at home and how much we need to step it up
my record vs rob 3.0 was 10-3 that day he still smashes my face in

She then hits Lilica with a charged 6[C] into gier release, from that she does 5B HC5 5A j.A (lilica activates) then she gets tossed.

well after evo.. most of the philly cats will be playing arcana (since marvel is like the last thing they are doing and that's at evo) they coming back and it's arcana time!!!.. not evo itself... but im talking after evo...

I thought people understood that Time Lilica didnt win the tourney...I thought I clearly stated that in my log about the tourney...damn how come noone bothers to ask those things...anyway that guy with Time Lilica is usually in the top3 or top5, but doesnt win. I still hate fighting against it though. But yeah, stepping my game up is needed.

Random1234242345: the only reason why it looks like I adapted is cause i got lucky and he messed up his time combo, otherwise, the fight wouldnt have been as close as it had been. Since I used my burst early in the round (and i was kicking myself in the head for it.) i technically should have gotten raped anyway.

AKA thanks for the props. I:m glad I didnt get raped in the biggest arcana tourney with the most publicity, but as you can see, people are still way better than me here. I just happened to play a good match that day, thats all, but i still didnt win. i havent won a tourney match here yet.

oh and yeah.... JULIENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN with a grapple character equals randomness and lolz haha. Watch him learn zero combos by nec lol.

If you can't do splash loops and use Rock Kira, then watch my old ass youtube vids(user - tko910), those are pretty much as simple as Kira combos get.

What does that move where gier turns into a puddle do?

What is the other move with lightning DP + D and when do you do it? The instructions on the other page are in japanese.

Can someone put together a list of what each arcana does? it would be really helpful. Especially the not to visible stuff. Dash changes, GC changes, Unblockable changes. There is a list here somewhere of what happens after activation with each arcana but thats about all I can find.

Unvrsty - The links have pictures to the moves and what each of them are. I suppose if anyone needs it, i can specify what theyre saying in the JPN text. Otherwise, most of it is self explanatory. GC changes and such are on there, too. If anyone wants me to, i can translate, but nobody has really requested it, so no big deal.

And as woof said, right when a clash happens, do 623D and you'll get that bolt of lightning. Its really good, surprisingly.

When gier turns into a puddle, if that hits the opp, (if its under them when you do it or they jump into it) then they can't jump until either they hit you or until the effect goes away, which is a few seconds. In all honesty, not worth it, just stick to fish.

There's a few other things i still have to add, like what cause the homing gauges to charge up, and whatever.

tourney report -

won 1 round then los to rock kira. rock kira player spoke english tho so we chatted it up and i informed him and the rest of the guys in the tourney about the usa arcana scene. kira playe go 4th tho and didnt win. lost to the heart player that ended up taking 2nd. this lightning kira dude (dude was at sbo too) took he tourney, he was really really fuckin solid. kira = guru guru guru hahah. winner got fiona/heart posters. and yeah the tourney was free enry wich was cool cause i ent o chiba all the way from tokyo. and free play afterwards for 2 1/2 hours so i definetely leveld the fuck up. it was awesome. i felt that the players there (except for maybe the top 2 dudes) were 2nd tier japanese players, however they were still fuckin good. im like midtier in japan (top ier in usa, but in japan, im a average kamui player at best.) so these guys were _still_ better than me, t put it into perspective.

Being a Dizzy player, I would actually suggest Mei-Fang. Her jumping C properties remind me a lot of Dizzy's jumping HS, but better. Her speed is moderate as well. I know she doesn't have projectiles like Maori, but... yeah. I used Maori and it felt different than the mentality I have playing as Dizzy. Heart is Jamneto for sure!:looney:

What exactly are the properties of earth's dash?

All I knew was that it messed up combos, but yesterday I was Wailing on Earth/Maori with Fiona (5C, 5C, 623C) from behind during her dash and not only didn't she fall she took like no damage. She just kept dashing into the corner like nothing was happening.

during Rock dash the character is pretty much invulnerable, I'm not sure about the properties of it, like if certain moves can get through it. And during Rock arcana activation the character gets super armor and starts eating hits for minimal damage but at the cost of being able to block, the only thing that can be done about the super armor is to throw the character or to use a throw type move (kira buster/maori rope) or wait for the activation to end also any charged C attacks (3C/6C) with rock will gain super armor as well.

haha i shoudl follow my own advice, yesterday in the tourney the reason i lost was because he activated arcana and i tried to do kamui A counter to her splash when she was activated (duuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhh)

kamui hits her, she doesnt go anywhere and i get super grabbed and lose...i was up by a lot too lol.

also kira charged 6c boot is sooooooo cheap with rock (again tellin everyone else) cause you can just keep clashing and get a grab attempt in eventually. also air unblockable too and + frames on block it seems

If you go through arcade mode, Fiona is always the last match, and the boss. If you go through story mode, she's always 2nd to last. She wasnt playable until the code was figured out how to unlock her.

This tournament wasn't designed for everyone to show up, but the next one will be. Still come if you can make it. Its that late because I know there will be more people in the arcade at that time. It doesn't get really busy in here until around that time.

Its as much of a prime time showcase for Arcana heart as it is a tournament. If I did it earlier there would be less people in the arcade. We're definately going to be doing more tournaments (and soon) but for right now I'm more concerned about getting new people exposed to the game than making this tournament accessible to visitors.

Have you seen her played?

She's retarted. She doesnt have combos or anything, just uses random moves from arcanas that do a ton of damage. And then she has a lazer super that instantly does at least half your life everytime she does it. She doesnt get knocked down like normal, she teleports. You can't wake her up because the timing is so wierd that if you try anything, the water grab super will win. If you try to hit her, she can just fire explode super. Cept that these arent "supers" but regular attacks that dont require bar. When she's not doing that, she can send a buncha gier fish at you and a buncha lightning bolts and giant lazers and tons of boomerangs and everything. Fun fun fun.

on a serious note guys, talking the small talk is all good and everything, but we need to have more useful posts in here, i want people in the usa to take this game seriously when it drops.

since i probably have the most info cause im in japan right now, ill probably start off with a anti/how to beat gier thread when i have some time to post up again, because I KNOW for a fact that when 100% of the people in the usa actually get a hold of this game, gier setups, even shitty ones, will smash their face in for free.

and atm its currently hard to write up strats because all of our strats (in america) are pretty outdated

i do think america can catch up to japans level in this game for sure. for example, im not the most talented player out there, but i do have a lot of experience in fighers...however my combo execution and creativity in he game is a bit limited. im sure there are other USA players that can step it up better than I can (like MVC2/GG players perhaps..)

it just takes strong players who have exp to lead the way (like myself/rob/kaneda/fubar.) even ken/hal/nas im sure have a lot of decent starting info for their specific characters. i dont want to necessarily spoonfeed anyone, but if we want to get people into this game then we gotta start getting the info out there for sure, and less spam on the thread. im not saying small talk is bad but we gotta be careful with that. console release is like what a month and a half away now?

ive been lazy on this but i want to try to integrate the usa/japan scenes together in ah for sure (like talking to pincho, have him keeping me updated with info/links, try to get em on irc etc...)

my performance at sbo opened a lot of japanese players eyes to the usa AHF scene and many people have talked to me asking about the scene here and what not. the general consensus is that while i have average kamui sill, my anticipation, movement and footsies are al good and are definetely on the japanese level.

and this was all done with barely any fuckin comp in NY.

if i can do it (do that well), imagine what would happen when we actually have comp. dont worry about ah2 for now, get hype!

And yeah my post was inspired by trag's sticky about what games would be considred for evo next year..kind of sad that according to him he thinks that mb/ah have 0% potential for consideration into evo, if you paraphrase his words mor or less. on top of that, i know ben thinks those 2 games are trash too (and while i'm not a fan of MB at all, my opinion isnt really relevant here, and mb guys have helped and been mad cool with me so i have no problem with them at all. mb/ah scenes are linked in both japan/usa basically.)

i think we've gota find a way to sell this game to the public at large and at srk...los of small communities say they wanna pick this game up just based off reading google searches, srk etc so this game has a chance.

and mvc2/gg/mb players have def shown interest in this game, if we can get all those communities playing AH and more then who knows what will happen?

this game obviously has potential, i is well balanced, no 1 character dominates, and smart play rules over everything lse more importantly. despite what some of you might think, there are no unbalanced matchups in the game to the point of roll vs sentinel in mvc2. if you think that way, then you ned to step it up (ie learn how to beat kamui) because there is always a way out of that bullshit in the game due to the system engine.

anyway im done for now, im rambling but im sure u get the point :tup:

Okay I read through some of this thread and haven't found what I was looking for. I use Saki/Lightening and although I've only been playing for a little less than a month I can say I'm fairly decent in the game (not complete scarbage). There are many things I can't do and one of them seems to be worthwhile, does anyone know how to do the counter lightening spear thingee, with Bhanri. I know the motion (it's a dragonpunch) but I don't know the timing. Any help would be appreciated. Also, thanks to Hal and Nas who have been showing us Philly players the ropes, we're stepping up.

On the more advanced side, can you clash out every move?

You have to input the DP during the clash frame, which is immediate after the clash. The window of opportunity is small so it's easier to do this if you're anticipating a clash or purposely go for clashes by reading the opponent.
You can clash with ALL normals in the game, and some specials and supers. Some exceptions are grabs and command grabs, there are others but I'm not 100% sure about it.

And yes, me and woof were arguing the same thing. People were saying that its impossible for any of us to ever be as good as the japanese because we're in the states. Then they said that because they have no competition and practiced every possible thing that there is to practice with their character, that they have no reason to play the game.

I then said that there's things that they're probably not doing, and ways that they can personally level themselves up, and they said that with bad competition, it's impossible. I then referred to how you were able to go to SBO and do well (at least in my eyes, you did well, no matter what you may think) with very little serious competition, and nobody even near you in your skill level range.

I said that not everybody can "lead a community" and such the way you have, but i just think that people are already giving up and saying that they wont be good ever if their competition doesn't get good, and that it's impossible. Hopefully we can get a decent amount of people who are good enough, both as players and leaders to start doing stuff for the community to get people to level up. Granted, better competition helps, but i know people who play against really good competition all the time, but are still really really weak at their game.

But yeah, I was on some really depressing stuff yesterday. I went back and re-read the logs, and I was like mad at myself for even getting into that mood. I'm not one to really get depressed, because I don't know how to do depression properly(like some people).

I won't deny the fact that I wish the Philly players were better, and that I think they had enough time to get to my level(or higher), but I will agree with mostly(mostly) everything <37 has said. I also think that because I've never really been considered good at a game before Arcana(out of like 10 people), it's probably me not knowing how to handle the situation. Instead of playing good people all the time and getting beat(but learning things in the process), now I need to actually find other methods, which is kind of hard at the moment.

Anyways when I get a job I won't have time to feel like a loser because I'll be too busy playing Arcana :rofl:

Combos are alway learnable but the hardest thing, like I said about myself before, is learning how to stop advanced tactics without any firsthand experience against them or knowledge that they exist. If you've gone to a major you can always find someone who has all of their their combos/strats down and gets destroyed because either

A) the stuff they came up with on their own is old news to most people who they are up against. (If it ain't broke don't fix it, too bad you didn't know it was broke until you got your ass handed to you)
or
B) the play style of a characters they are up against differs so widely from the only way they've seen that character played that they can't counter until its too late. (A huge factor in Arcana with all the different character/arcana combinations)

I think if someone put up list of what NOT to do it with their character and why it would help raise the level of comp everywhere and start some good strat discussions.

Dawain thats why I started playing random on KOF XI. There are always ways to get better even when you aren't losing regularly.

However, you get out of this by using a homing cancel. The thing is, if kamui knows you're gonna use a homing cancel, she can bait it and hit you in the HC recovery. So sometimes, just straight up blocking after an air attack like that is good, other times, its best to move.

There's not a lot of things that you should just never do. Kira relies on a 2B/throw mixup constantly, and while it may seem basic, there's a lot that goes into getting that mixup chance...

But thats why people should watch all sorts of vids. Vids of good players, vids of intermediate players, heck, even beginner vids. Once you can start to tell the difference between a good vid and a bad vid, you're already learning because you can already spot what is used that makes the players in the vid "good" or what makes one of them "not as good". I rarely watched vids in Japan cause i saw a lot of it in the arcade, but for those who don't think they have that kind of competition, watch vids of all kinda. Watch every character vs every character. Im sure there's SOMETHING you'll learn by watching them. I learn new things by watching vids all the time, even with Lilica, and especially with Mei Fang. Imagine with a character i DONT play, how much i'll just learn about the matchup in general. Granted, you can only learn so much watching vids, but it gives you a solid idea and a basis for what strong play is and what strong play isnt.

Maori isn't a rushdown character, but she has traps involving the air DP yoyo's, and sisters and such. She's more of a lockdown style character.

And no, her normals arent nearly as good as Mei Fang, Heart, Saki, etc, but that's kinda her weakness since her zoning and such is so good.

You're right and you're wrong. It does become mixup but ONLY after you know going air to air with Kamui's j.2C leaves you open for a 3B launch. If the Kamui you play against, or the computer, never figures that out then you would be assed out when you get to a tournament and everyone else know that but you.

You have the next step planned out already and I'm like "fuck he keeps launching me" how long does it take me to start homing canceling? and when I do you already have something planned for that before I even figure out what to do about the first problem.

I didn't even know about that until you just mentioned it. Having it come down to mixup is a step up from just getting raped.

Let me put it this way:

The third day of playing the game for me, a Kamui player was doing that sorta thing to me. I figured out to HC it after a few times of not realizing its unblockable and thinking the stick was messed up or i messed up. This is my THIRD DAY OF PLAYING the game. Period. Day 1 was me barely playing cause the game was on freeplay and i was mostly losing. The 2nd day, i got some decent play in, which allowed me to even compete with this guy who was better than me.

There's basic things about a game that you should know before getting into a high, or even a mid level of playing.

Obviously you haven't played a great deal, so its understandable that you don't know a lot of basic things, but i think you guys have the resources of watching lots of vids. And watch a vid. If you have a question or don't understand something, ASK. I love answering AH questions on here, but i'm not about to sit and post every little basic piece of info for every character there is to know on here. Be realistic, now, lol.

You figured it out as much because of him as it was because of you though. I'm not slow, I'd figure it out too IF I GOT TO SEE IT. Right now there is only one serious Kamui player here, and we're at about the same level, so no I am definately not an expert on anti kamui strats but I see so much Fiona right now its ridiculous. Its all matter of what is available in your area.

Watching vids and understanding the reasoning behind the actions are two very different things.

No one is asking anyone to post an guide to every possible thing that could happen I'm just saying that posting a random piece of information now and then could be helpful to someone, not just from you, but from anyone with some experience playing the game, what might seem like common sense to you could really help someone else out. If someone is going to make a one line post about basically nothing, throw in a tip or or strat or something too and make yourself useful

I'm taking this side of the argument not so much for me (philly will do just fine) but for all of the people who are going to start playing Arcana in october, these people are going to be playing in their homes and depending on where they live and how many friends they have they may never play someone as good with Kamui you played on day 1.

Hell no, i had to figure just about everything out myself. From learning how to even tech off a wall to throw breaks to more complicated stuff like what beats what in certain situations. There's things you learn from just playing, i was able to do it, you should be able to figure out SOMETHING, too. And you said it yourself. You have 1 Kamui player. Play against him. If he comes and asks things like "hey, whats the way to rushdown with kamui" or "what moves best keep the opponent away" or something, then ill answer, but im not about to throw in a random "her 41236C is good after a tech" and stuff like that every post. Its rediculous.

You're giving the exact same excuse Hal was. "I dont have good competition so i can't get better" You can, and once you start to do stuff, your opponent is gonna get better. There's gonna be a point when you cant rely on me telling week 1 stuff to you and you beneffiting from it. Im not saying that you're always gonna be bad or that you're bad now, im just saying that i dont really understand what you want. I have a basic guide on page 1. A link to the characters and their moves. A guide to Lilica's B&B, a guide to her arcana's, stuff that explains what things do, but ultimately, how to play the game, thats what the vids are THERE for.

You're not getting the concept of:
Watch vids. If you have a question, ask. Me or art or ken or hal or a number of people will probably know the answer. I didn't see anything from SBO vids that i didn't understand. I saw stuff i havent SEEN before, but i understood why all of it worked, same with Art, and Ken, and Hal, and a buncha others here. Heck, if you wanna know which vids are good to WATCH, you can ask here. You can ask about character matchup vids, i have no problem finding that stuff and explaining it. What more do you want?

I'm not trying to start trouble but as a fellow philly fighter (just wanted to get 3 f's in there) player I can kind of see what BlackShinobi is talking about. Watching vids doesn't help us know what is unblockable. We might just think that the person being abused by kamui just isn't blocking. But I do agree with all of you that watching the vids online REALLY helps out, I can get most of saki's loop because I watched it online.

Speaking of the loop can someone help me on the whole charge up down kick thingee. I need to do it after the third loop string but cant' seem to charge in time. Do I start charging as soon as I hit the ground or can I do it in the air?

Also speaking of Kamui, the player here never does that delayed fireball super, is it good for setups?

Last question. How do I beat Konoha? BlackShinobi and I are about the same level in this game here in philly but Konoha gives me such a problem. Any help on when I can hit her hard (just wanted to get three h's in there) or when she is open would be appreciated.

TIP: The other day I was playing BlackShinobi and as I was practicing he was entering credits on the machine. I realized that this caused the game to experience major slowdown and lag. Thus causing me to mess up my combos. My tip is if you are getting RAPED by a particularly long lifedraing loop (just wanted to get three l's there) such as saki's save your activation mode thingee and just put a couple of quarters in the machine should get you right out. Is this legal :)

Yeah technically Maori isn't a rush down character, but she can be to a certain extent. Her zoning is awesome and her pressure game is great as well. She has many high and low mixups.

Yeah I totally argee with you, everyone has the ability to get better. It just comes down to motivation, determination and effort. I understand what BlackShinobi is trying to say about not having an understanding of what properties certain moves have and what not, this is due to the lack of exposure to these moves, which is understandable because since everyone pretty much started at the same time. The thing is, you guys pretty much wait for us to spoonfeed you info about everything, when you can do research on your own(ie. da intarweb). We aren't saying we don't want to help you at all, in fact we really do, its a blessing to know that people are liking this game over at philly since the AH scene over here in NY is pretty shitty :( But people need to put in more effort in learning rather than relying on others because its more convenient. When AH hit the arcades over here, we pretty much raped the internet for info on the game to see if we could find strats and character info, which were in jap 100% of the time...(go babelfish?) so basically we had nothing to start with at all, in this case you guys have it good since now there's people who have knowledge of the game here :) I know its frustrating at times, but you gotta keep at it if you wanna get any better.

you can start charging for that move after you do 5B into 5C. So basically you do 5B (immediately hold up'8' during animation of 5B) 5C 2x(any attack button)
5C is slow so this helps in buffering for the charge.

Everyone in the game has them
All 3Cs and 6Cs are air unblockable no matter which character is using it.
Certain characters have air unblockables other than 3/6C
Mei Fang, Yoriko, and Konoha has 6B
Kamui has 3B
Kira has 2B
Maori has 623A (anti-air rope)
Fiona has 623AB (Excalibur super aka big mother fucking sword)

i can understand the vids part..like ill watch the vids and then try to emulate what they did (yea basically copying...but i was noob) my first time even playing this game was four months... like when hnana and art and i went to arcade (at that time huge tekken fan lol).... like i didn't know shit about the game... but like those guys was showing shit about fiona(hnana showing the bnb) like i didn't get it at first but gradually i got it figured out... now they handed my ass everytime i played (of course) but there was like a round they would let me try out shit so i can understand better...and i learn a great deal from that and arcana was too good so that's why i always wanted to go to CF whenever. i can...now philly has it... the goal is see philly get better whether we have bunch of fionas( like there are like two that seen me play and then emulated what i did and vids too..) or kamui i try to help out...like with pesky after the first day and second day... he get a win or two.. but i wouldn't automatically put in my quarters cuse he needed the practice.. now pesky looking nice as hell... me and hal are still going to hold the fort down bitches!!

sometimes it's better to get player to player exp. than vids.. but vids do help alot

also in fire arcana 3[C]'s are unblockable, unless they in lighting then you have clash frames built in, unless your earth then you have super armor during the charge...unless in your time then you can hold your charge till you feel it to come out ( it will hit at the spot you decided to charge at.)

peskypurple: kamui FB super is actuall good in combos. u can do amuis most advanced/damaging combos with it. property of it is, its qcb+2 buttons, when u do it, u have to hold down 1 button, and u can let go at ur lesiure. i advise u to hold down a button, so u can combo after it. basic kamui combo with fb super that i do is -

2a 2b 2c hcf+a, 6HC for a sec then immediately go into FB super. if done right the first hit will juggle them then hold A and continue the combo.

then after that, while holding A, run up 3B, jump B double jump B air 2C, then let go of fireball so they land on it. then 5hc, combo down with jump c, after that 3b them again, into air combo of ur choice. there are more advanced variations of this, but this basic version does 45-50% for 2 homings.

if u get them in the corner u dont need to waste a hc u can go into fb super after hcf+a. also makes timing easier to let of of the b super cause they are close o the corner. but takes a bit fo practice for sure but aint impossible, i can do it and im not good at combos really compared to mvc2 ppl.

of course a lot of these kamui combos are outdated now cuz u can use 1 hc insead of 2 hc's but its like whatever
take of note that kamui bnbs dont work on kirea u have to modify them a bit..which is what they showed in the video

the new kamui bnb that i do is - 2a 2b 2c hcf+a, 6hc into 3B, IAD jump a double jump a, then C -> land, jump a jump b jump b jump C into dp+C

of course with extra homing you can always add more to this but this is the best basic combo that i do now.
