I have never been big fan of arcades because my ability drastically decreases when playing in the arcade.I just can't adjust to the arcade stick.I have a few arcade sticks at home but only becuase they look cool,i don't actually use them.I feel like i'm a pretty good player especially when it comes to fighters, but Tekken is the only one I can play in the arcade and be just as on console.I played 3rd Strike a couple days ago in the arcade and I could barely do a Hadoken.I got owned so bad by Q,I had to leave the arcade.Does anyone else have decreased skills in the arcade?

Is your name a play on some sort of evil love child between Penny Parker and Murdoc from MacGyver? :wtf:
To answer your question, no, I do not experience that. Best tip is to practice, and that's that.

Get a joystick and practice. If you go to a tourney, with a pad, people will be licking their chops hoping they draw you for an easy first round.
I don't get worried in the arcade.
And now for the SRK obligatory complaint/flame: Go back to 2007 you gaylord.
Yeah, that's right... I said gaylord.
Had to go back to 1991 for that one.

ROFLCOPTER.
and murdock, yes, get a stick and practice. once you get used to a stick, you'll see the results and why a stick is so much better than a controller.
Keep on playing until you either:A.) learn how to do the motions
- or -
B.) Get assassinated by the people at your arcade. (Ah... nothing like a good ole' arcade assassination)

Getting owned is part of the learning process.
Back in the day (when SF1 was god, and when World Warrior followed) peeps had no choice but to challenge whoever was on the machine. Actually clocking the game was unheard of! Lasting against the challenger, or beating the current player, was the only way you earned your stripes.
A good beasting does you good >no homo<

I don't trust a man with two first names. Interestingly enough, I really trust a man with two last names. I agree with whatever you've said. yes homo.
