What is Marathon? Marathon was 1st on the Mac years ago, not known to many PC gamers. Marathon was the 1st FPS ever to put a deep story into a FPS, Durandal is a AI computer that becomes insane and lets a group of aliens attack the Marathon Colony ship. Durandal gets control of the ship and orders you around, he also forces you to go to the alien ship to get data. In the 2nd marathon you go to the alien home world, also you no longer human but a cyborg put together with human parts. In the 3rd marathon you have to save the universe from Durandal who trys to get control of a unknown alien space craft, which Durandal could destory every living thing in the universe.

There were tournaments for Marathon games also for muti-player, which were the 1st tournaments for a FPS as far as people know.
Marathon is also coming to the XBOX360 as a Downloadable game.
