Thoughts and prayers...

I was wondering if SRK'ers here could send some thoughts and prayers to my Aunt. Ya'll know I'm not religious but anything would be a big help.

I'm in Missouri right now visiting my aunt. She suddenly went into cardiac arrest from a blood sugar crash and died in her bed. I literally saw her gasping for her last breaths (that shit is wild, too). The paramedics were able to bring her back though and now she's in ICU with tubes all up in her grill and shit and loaded up on meds. They claim she's not in a coma anymore but that she's "sleeping." Her blood sugar is a lot higher; but, she is moving around but she doesn't open her eyes or acknowledge anything.

Shit has me going kinda crazy here and I can't sleep. If I'm not making sense right now, I apologize.

If you could please send thoughts and prayers to her and my mom that would really be a big help for us.

what so wrong about what i posted? the guy is asking for prayers so that's why i gave the site.. it's only a random idea if you want more thoughts and prayers. I don't see what was so offensive about it. That site has more than 4000 people of different to no religion so it wasn't a form of preaching, nor was i trying to be funny. This literally made me cry because I too had a family member (my sister) in cardiac arrest (as a result of the flu or some other illness). She died Feb. 24, 2007:sad:. I couldn't save her.... but at least I can direct my prayers to your aunt and the rest of the family.

Sonicspear, I'm sorry to hear about your sister.

It doesn't look like she's going to recover because she probably had too much brain damage. All we keep hearing is wait and things like that but right now it looks like she will never make a meaningful recovery. It's really hard for us because we're just visiting (like I said) and we're staying in HER house. So if she dies, we will have to take care of all her stuff and figure that out. I don't know what's going to happen.

Just a little update in case anyone still cares.
