the best one out there ive seen has been the cartage u plug in the botttom. ive seen one with just the modafied sd card u plug on top and just plug it to ur computer to dump stiff on it, but does that one play rom (nes/snes..ect) any help?

I've used both a supercard lite rumble (a slot 2 solution w/ a slot 1 boot card) and an R4. IMO, the R4 is far nicer as it's a slot 1 only card and is drag and drop compatibility for DS roms.

As for emulation, Genesis is fairly well emulated, SNES is usable for some games but mostly worthless, and NES is also pretty good.
