Btw, if anyone is looking to buy a new TV, Bestbuy has a Sharp Aquos 37" 1080p (LC37D62U) for like 1500 or something. I'm getting one on Tuesday for 2200 (total), which includes:

-the tv
-monster cables
-6 months Rogers HD + box (10 HD channels)
-4 year plan (got it half price)
-surge protector

The TV itself looks GDLK...really really REALLY nice. 6ms response time, and Vyper Drive Game Mode which gets rid of any lag for gaming.

I went today to buy, cept I had to reapply for the new BB card and I ended up getting only 2K to start. I'm gonna call em up to see if they can raise my limit tomorrow, but overall, I was pretty dissapointed. The guys were trying to convince me that Plasma is the best, and other shit like that. I think Bestbuy must have the most garbage sources ever, cause even their top of the line tv's look like shit. I asked if they could calibrate the image, and he did for one of the 1080p plasmas, and it looked a bit better, but fuck me, I don't feel like paying thousands for a tv anymore unless I see one that looks REALLY good.

Anyway, to put it simply, this is what I WANTED to get tonight:

You can get an HDMI cable for under 40 bucks easily nowadays. If you look around, you can even get one for under 10 bucks. I even have an extra one if you wanna buy it. You don’t need to get the PS3 HDMI cable to hook up your PS3 to an HD TV. I use a regular HDMI cable from my TV to PS3 and it works perfect. The PS3 even detects it right away. Just make sure you get a “HDMI male to male” cable. Don’t waste 150 bucks on a PS branded one. All work the same. They charge a lot for fancy gold plated, 100 feet, thick wire and bullshit things you don’t need.

When it comes to plasma vs LCD, I like LCD better. I think that for gaming and sporting events, LCD is better. Less blur on the screen when things move around quickly on the screen. Plus plasma uses way more energy and tends to heat up quickly. If you plan on using you tv as a pc monitor like I do, Windows looks real nice, large and crisp images. You don’t have to worry about wasting your tv's life spand and too much energy when using LCD as you would with a plasma. I think both are great and have pros and cons. I like LCD tho.

The diffren between an Hori and Sanwa stick is pretty noticable. The Hori feels a little flimsy and much looser then a Sanwa. The Sanwa feels more precise and lsightly firmer.

The parts are the only diffrence. The only real diffrence from a stock HRAP and a stock T5 is that the T5 comes with a Hori stick were as the HRAP is a Sanwa. The T5 is so easy to mod though, and ther emuch cheaper then an HRAP.

You gotta do some handy work though, soldering and desoldering and crap, but it's really easy.
