You seem to have the basics of Kaz so u should really check out a korean player called Leedy (on youtube u will find his matches) to see what a high level Kaz looks like. It's a pretty reasonable conclusion though, Namco doesn't seem to grasp a proper netcode so I wouldn't be surprised if SC4 and T6 ended up disolving to lag filled contest like DR.

Cable: No problem, just wished you could have played because I rarely play. I hate fighting anna's online though. db+3 is impossible to block, and crouching ws/fc mixups are even better.

Those are funny vids. No offense dusk, I've never played you but I would not use mishima's online, they are terrible. Also, steve is a bad matchup for them offline unless you are really, really good so it makes the matchup way harder online unless you just go for lows all the time.

Frankie you're pretty good. I can still see online tactics at some points but whatever I sometimes use them too. You're probably good without them I can tell. Things are going to be way worse on tekken 6 because of lows and bound. Lili's db+4 trips on regular hit in tekken 6. That is going to be really fun online.

Well watching the match vids, i'm still conflicted on even going back to play online again. I've taken some losses online after getting hit by moves i normally would've parried or sidestepped. Sure i could resort to lag tactics but that would fuck up my game up.
I'm gonna stick with offline play for awhile till Tekken 6 hits. I MIGHT pop up on DR online every once in a blue moon to play but thats it.

Hmmm. Frankie clearly has the better skill, and Dethklok doesn't know matches very well(especially against Steve). However, Dethklok did have the more unstable connection out of the two, and Frankie was more willing to throw during the matches.

I'd rather play Dethklok(with a solid connection) than Frankie online.

Thing is lili doesn't even need flips to be good online, flips are considered scrubby but lili's offline playstyle is more effective online. I just avoid playing her all together unless I get her using mokujin.

uf+3+4 (double knees) into mixup between 3+4 (if you think they will attack) and df+1+2 (if they will block) is too good online because of lag and delay. Then again, this can be used offline, but it's just so much better online. Judging from that vid, that are better wall combos frankie could have been besides jabs.

I think the point is nobody should take this too seriously.

I think the whole ranking aspect is what kills it and why alot of people are complaining of the lag tactics to begin with. I don't blame Duskbringer for crying foul on the matches cause i guarantee you it would be a different story offline.

Just posting to get my name out that I play Tekken and we can get some matches going since I started back up with the game. And to add my 2 cents, online is really stupid in the sense that you never have a "real" competitive match. Until I get my HRAP 3 I'm stuck with the controller for now and with the lag you fear trying certain moves because if there is any delay where the move leaves you wide open your going to be punished.

To sum up this game online is, Bad players can spam with characters that have moves that gain a boost from lag and win. Good players can play good and still be able to stop some bad people but will often see it's a lot harder than normal and has nothing to do with skill. And sometimes you won't be able to tell who's really good from who's alright because people fear to do complicated things on the game and be punished by the lag and left open.

Although I'm not involved in this arguing over a forum is pretty sad. Especially arguing about Tekken online as if this is a true experience to one you will get at a real arcade without lag and where actual skill is involved. Not to take away from any of you and how you play, but be serious this game is online and it's Namco's first try with Tekken online. Hopefully it improves because it's alright now but not perfect. A lot of moves can't be pulled off because lag will cause it to delay and miss and potentially leave you open.

Oh and Torn, those matches were fun. I was mad I couldn't get my combos off a few times and next time we play I definitely got another game plan for you so you won't be able to memorize my moves.

Oh and Duskbringer not to sound like I'm criticizing but I could teach you some other moves to link with Kazuya because in the first game Fagami posted in the second round you definitely could have won after hitting the gut punch.

Then again i don't know why anyone takes Tekken online seriously. I've lost a fair share of matches due to people using lag tactics and playing online really fucks me up since i play more offline. I'm not a rank whore but i definitely don't like losing to stupid things that i could've avoided or countered in an offline match. The whole online aspect of Tekken is ridiculous and hopefully it'll be fixed come Tekken 6.

Although I'm not involved in this arguing over a forum is pretty sad. Especially arguing about Tekken online as if this is a true experience to one you will get at a real arcade without lag and where actual skill is involved. Not to take away from any of you and how you play, but be serious this game is online and it's Namco's first try with Tekken online. Hopefully it improves because it's alright now but not perfect. A lot of moves can't be pulled off because lag will cause it to delay and miss and potentially leave you open.

Oh and Torn, those matches were fun. I was mad I couldn't get my combos off a few times and next time we play I definitely got another game plan for you so you won't be able to memorize my moves.

Oh and Duskbringer not to sound like I'm criticizing but I could teach you some other moves to link with Kazuya because in the first game Fagami posted in the second round you definitely could have won after hitting the gut punch.
if you hadn't noticed i could barely do anything with my red/black bars, and grabbing and sweeping online is pretty scrubby stuff so i prefer not to do it. and fagami over here thinks his online black bar, lag abusing scrub wins make him better than me. but really it doesn't he can be a *** and act like he has some respect and like he's a good tekken player when really if you pay close attention to each of those shitty online matched recorded you'll notice how i lost to lag and him abusing it, nothing else because clearly he sucks. nough said.
