In console versions you complete the game with the character and you are able to get 6 extra costumes by pressing start and one of the move buttons?
Does this work for mame ?
-Is it possible to save state when you complete it and load state when playing online with someone?
-can anyone post their saved game/games

I'm 90% sure that those extra colors are console only.

Theres a thread in Image MishMash of people coloring 3s sprites, I think theres a way of taking the colored sprites and replacing one of the original customes from the arcade with it.

Indeed, I've tried the hold start thing to get extra colors, disappointment!

that urien is well nice rocklee, how does one get it into gill colors? can that be applied to chunli? i thought urien was one solid color and changing those shades would effect his whole body ?
ALSO do u not get a crc error when u change the 51 file?
i patch it and add it back to zip and it doesnt work online !

It's pointless since you can't use those self made colors online though.
The only extra color I know of is the one you get by hitting FP+LK+MK together.

that is because the exact value of the 51 file has been changed and will not match up against the audit.

not with the current builds of mame who look for more than just the file name in the roms folder.

you can actually. that's the only reason I even bothered to make them for 3s and before in A3. it's the other person whose colors appear "normal".
to pass the crc simply don't audit/refresh rom list after you replace the 51 file. keep a separate copy of the original 51 file to pass future rom checks if you get a new game for example.

Awesome. I always did find it kind of weird that they included Ryu's CE color and Ken's HF color, but not vice versa

so how does this work for online play? for instance, say both me and some random guy changed her primary colors. if we both LP pick, are we both picking our own colors, both picking his/my color, or will it be the primary color?

Coincidentally I just asked the same thing in the CPS3 thread. Tried my custom MP Dudley and it showed up for me, but for the other guy it was just Dudley's normal MP colour. So at this point, I'm thinking each player loads their game information for themselves, without it affecting the other player's game. Hopefully someone can clarify.

it would be impossible to get colors on the other side. Unless someone made an official 3S Shoryuken color patch ;) but dont think new people would get it.
would love a white ORO with red clothing, might make one soon.
