i work in a office on michigan avenue, and i just went out for a early lunch and bought myself a sandwich. i sat by the fountains next to the art institute (it's really nice there), then as i was about to start eating... i heard these feint noise from the distance. then all of sudden, a throng of people of wearing yellow shirts and waving passed right in front of me yelling "save tibet".

maybe there were 300 or 500 people? it was a pretty big crowd snaking down michigan avenue.

now, i feel empathetic about tibet but it's kind of annoying when people make noise in a city that is already hella noisy. i just wanted to eat my lunch in peace. :annoy:

i dun even know why this rally's going on today. i don't think the dalai lama's in town... for all i know. :confused:
