Cell phone help. Anyone with T-Mobile Samsung SGH-T809 please help.

If anyone has this phone I need a little help. I had this phone until it died today. The screen comes and it works, but is completely blank. I'm trying to transfer all my phonebook contacts to my sim card, but don't remember the exact sequence of buttons to go through.

So if anyone has the phone and would be willing to help. That would be great. Just copying all numbers to sim card.

off topic, let me you ask you a question, how long have you had that phone?

I had it for about a year now. Phone is pretty good, but apparently dies if you drop it alot. Go figure.

Mods can delete this thread now, I was able to get my phone working somehow.

FYI, the same thing happened to my phone. If you open the battery case, there is a small button type thing toward the top of the battery on the phone. If it is not red (red means it has had water spilled on it) then you can get a free replacement if it is not a year old yet. Trust me, if your screen was fucked once, it will happen again. I just replaced my phone like this about a month ago. Late

T809 generally suck, a lot of the phones where defected so they made the T629 to take its place (the more crappy silver version).

but if you need to move all your numbers to your sim card start off making sure that your phone is on the display screen ( w/ the time date etc.)

First....

1. Hit your menu button.
2. Hit right then down to go to settings.
3. Hit #8 to go to memory status
4. Hit #5 to go to phone book
5. Then hit ok button (circle button w/ t-mobile sign on it)
6. After that you will be on you contact list.
7. Hit ok again to choose to one of your numbers on your contact list.
8. Hit options button (button right on top of talk button)
9. after hit #1
10. Hit options button again
11. after hit #4
12. Then down one time
13. Then the ok button.
14. Hit options button again (it's the save button now)
15. It will save then bring you back to the contact list again.
(Repeat steps #6 - #15, remember though that you'll have to move through your contact list one at a time)
