So my boss thinks i'm an idiot since i haven't heard of this term before. if you could put your response on that page, that would really help.

Okay, so you can read the main synopsis here.

and if you could answer on that page, that would be excellent.

Thanks! :lovin::lovin::lovin:

EDIT: I know what the term means, I'm just trying to see how many people have actually heard of it. Thanks!

I've never heard of that term before, but I would think it would be something like, "only the sweet things in life"? I dunno.

that means you get what you deserve and it's deserts not desserts.

It's usually a witty response, meaning You got what you deserved

I responded on yahoo, as requested.

I didn't realize it was spelled wrong though, as I've never really experienced it in written form.

Its a karmic phrase like the others have posted. Tell your boss that his terminolgy is outdated and he needs to get laid.

It means that he or she got what they have deserved. Something similar to "What goes around, comes around". i.e. crappy guy gets into the finals and then, gets beasted first round. "Just desserts". As stated by someone else.

Isn't it also an ability in some final fantasy games, namely tactics?

I think Marlboro's use it.

Actually, the point of this was NOT to find the answer. I found the answer quickly by going to wikipedia.

The point of this was to see how many people ACTUALLY KNOW what the term meant, and how often they had heard it, etc. etc.

Thanks to those that replied!
