This question sounds stupid, but I didn't know of any other way to express it. Here are the specifics.

The alarm on my Creative Zen Vision:M is the only alarm that could wake me up anytime I set it to, because the sound is right in my ear. As such, I really want to get into using it.
These (http://www.amazon.com/Sony-MDR-J10-Headphones-Non-Slip-Design/dp/B000092YR6/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/105-3029462-2991611?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1187987723&sr=8-1) are the headphones I use.
There are two problems though:
1.) I use it in bed, and I toss and turn. The headphone could come out of the jack.
2.) Same as #1, but my headphones could come out of my ears.

I've tried certain measures to stop #1, like having my Zen in a tight pouch the headphones could never unplug from. But then there seems to be no definite way to stop #2. I've tried to raise that little "washer" on the headphones that tightens them in your ears. Didn't work. I'd wake up with the pouch still on the player, but the headphones off.

So if anyone uses the alarm on their MP3 player a lot, what did you do to set it up so that nothing could get in the way?

I have a ihome. It works pretty good. my only complaint is that the screen is too bright and it lights my whole room up.

Those cost too much, and the reason I use my alarm with the headphones in my ear and connected to the player is to have an alarm that doesn't blare to anyone but me.
My mom has extra-sensitive hearing when it comes to reasons for kicking my ass.

i home is good. they also have these wireless stereo headphones too

also what you could do is cut a tiny hole in your pillow case. put the mp3 player in your pillow case, and plug the phones through the hole. be sure to put all of the wire from the head phones in the pillowcase so you dont strangle your self.
