Yeah I sorta was out of commisiion when i tried to run the last tournament for 3s on here, but I'l sure enough that I'll be able to run then tournament all the way threw

any how this is how the rules sor singels and teams will work

Warning, there is a 100ms ping cap, if your higher than that then it sa no go for you
Also Both Teams and singels will start at the same time

Start time For singels 5pm est
Start time for Teams 6pm est

Double elimination
Swithable chars only upon loss
Super arts able to be changed if you win
No cheats
No gill
No Shin Akuma
Must play on excelent, lan or p2p

Game specifics
2/3 winners and losers
3/5 winners and losers finals
4/7 grand (losers must win 2 sets)

Team rules

All of the above apply, also the sbo rule for teams (which must be teams of 2) that has it so you must all have diffrent characters on your team

example
Team A. Yun Ken <--- this is ok
Team B Yun Yun <--- Not ok.

You must have 2 diffrent characters for your team.

It will also go in double elime but only be best of 1! Also You must pick a TEAM NAME. So that ints easier to do the brakets

Well you can't all join in at once because it only add's in 1 at a time. so just have one guy start a chat, then the two that go in, go and fight the lsoer leaves and the next member of the team goes and fights.

Hey, can we make it a rule where we outlaw Denjin Hadouken for any kaillera tourneys. I get new internet connection but with the delay of my old internet connection, its absolutely impossible to react parry to a denjin. I don't want players that might have the same internet speed I did to experience the same thing. Really, predict ahead of time when the person is gonna release the fireball and pressing the tempo of 5 fast hits hoping they happen correctly without hearing the sound or seeing the parry? Thats pretty much a cheating super on kaillera against people with less than 1mb dsl. But, then again, in that case, if someone had the connection I did, they probably wouldn't participate at all in the first place, so whatever.

thats just out of line. train your brain to think slightly ahead. i always parry denjin setups then get hit by hurricane kick or sweep. theres no escape on a good denjin player.

OK well, the tournament has its specifications, if you do not meet these specifications then you do not enter the tournament. If you are having problems dealing with something as a result of delay then it is not the tournaments problem, rather it is your own. If you are having troubles parry denjin then you seriously need to start practicing that. If you can parry a simple fire ball then parrying denjin should be that much of a stretch. It is also unfair to the other players who might be using sa3 ryu in the tournament, who will be forced to either go with sa1 Ryu or pick someone else altogether.

Basically its like telling someone in st that they can’t pick Sagat if their fighting O.G.Sagat because getting threw his fire balls is hard with delay.

That’s bull shit. If you can’t get by something do to delay (Which in the world of kaillera you must get use to) then its your problem. I’m not going to segregate denjin because people cant parry. Its not something that makes the game broken or unbalanced or even makes it so the game can’t continue. Its simply something you or someone like you can’t deal with. For that all I can say is go hit the danger room and get your parry on

tip for tourney admin and everyone else thats gonna participate in the singles, anyway, i can play on pretty much all good european servers except for ONE, thats the Reps EmuLinker Server! i got around 90ms+ there. on the rest i got 33ms which is very good and very playable.

Emuline server is a very good server in france, then there are another good france server called [SF.FR] something, theres also GameSwitch, a VERY good server in Stockholm, Sweden, also aep german server is good, im only gonna play when i got -49ms.. 50ms+ is too crap, there actually are a tiny limit between 49 and 50 you can feel.. ya'll can join these servers and look up what ms you got

listen, get the P2P kaillera dll... it changes things. Parrying denjin is no problem on almost any connection.

yo shiro i think (to avoid confusion) you should restate the rules of the team tourney so no one will be playing 2 out of 3 games....cuz i happen to notice that there are a set of rules in the bracket sheet
