don't worry it's not going to be ruin with wiimote controls it's going to be used with the classic, GC, and the holy fighting stick control settings. so no worries.

actually the best controllers are acade controllers. Way better than console controls. You get the true feel of a fighting game but I myself am use to the ps2 controllers but I'm interested in the wii classic controlls you know.

I have been a big fan of GG as far as GGX for PS2 many years ago and can't wait for the GG Accent Core to release. I haven't seen Nintendo get a major game title since Tekken advance released on GB advanced or Dusk Strikers on DS but to have a game of this magnitude come out for Wii is a gift from heaven but I still would like to see GGXX slash come to the US eventually but for those that played both would you want GGXX slash or GG Accent Core. I haven't played either so I don't really know what to expect from either of them right now.

Seeing how this is yet another re-release of Guilty Gear X2, I refuse to pre-order this game and I damn sure refuse to pay more than $20 if it has no online play and no more than $30 with online play. If this game comes out with anything above a $30 price tag, then that will be the biggest BS ever.

If the game does cost more than that, then Guilty Gear fans were effectively given a kick in the balls immediately followed by someone's foot being twisted right on them.

well you see the hype is this is the first fighting game for the wii and with guilty gear being an excellent game then it gives wii good points for it being on it. there's no difference between the two really just glad wii finally got a good decent fighting game until brawl comes out.

I got my PS2 copy on release (not a huge GG fan, but I can dig this still), showed it off to a friend who plays BR, Smash, and MK (on his Wii), loved it (he's into animu.).

He's getting it for Wii, I gotta say I can't wait for waggle matches. Dunno why, but playing shitty games/outright broken games is one of my favorite things to do. I know playing Metal Slug Anthology using the "arcade" config is always hilarious with someone. In that mode I can't even get Ralf to shoot.

Wow, this game is not only overpriced considering that its a re-release of an old game, but the PS2 version costs $10 less. That's bull, especially because Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition was released at $30. Hell, this game doesn't even have online play as of now.

I hope that people don't waste their money on this game considering that this game isn't worth the price tag.

A part of that compromise is $250+ for a Wii, and many people already have a PS2. It's nice that Arc is cross platforming their stuff, but considering how close to perfection the PS2 port is, and how readily available it is, it's obvious which version is going to be used for serious tournament play. No one is going to pick up a Wii for a fighting game.

for me its not even about that im just glad that the number of fighters for wii is increasing, while i wont be getting a we for fighters some fighters would be nice for when my ps2 breaks. i mean imagin if they start releasing KOF in s packs 2 by 2 like they did on ps2 that would be awesome.

Yep, I'm getting AC for the Wii and since I already have a classic controller I'm using that one (hate the GC controller, personally), at least they aren't forcing you the Wii-mote thing on the game.

It's good to know that it plays well. The Classic Controller is the best "normal controller" for fighting games (this doesn't include third party controllers), but I'm probably just going to buy a Hori Stick and a GC Adapter.

The wii is a fantastic system, but this just isn't where it's focus should be directed. If you're going to play guilty competitvely you would be much better off going the PS2 route. You are never going to see Wii as the default format for the game in a tourney setting.

I'd say you're probably right due to the fact that most players already invested in a PS2 and most players have PS2 joysticks. You also have to consider that a PS2Slim is only $149 now, so it's gonna be hard for the Wii to be used as a medium for tournies.

But still, since the Wii is essentially the PS2 ver, it's still a good port.
