Dear god where do i begin..

I have never seen a movie jerked around in so many random directions. Some of you may have seen Resident Evil : Apocalypse, and hopefully you were as upset as me in the horrific display of a ruthless enigma such as Nemesis, showing mercy towards any creature. He was a complete pussy in the movie.

Now , in regards to Extinction.

So basically, the story is the whole world has been overcome and all of the movie takes place in the desert/ Las Vegas area.

For some retarded reason that soars beyond me, they decided to give Alice psychic powers. Which is referred to as psionic alpha & beta waves. In one scene while she is sleeping, she is having some bad dreams and a bunch of rocks AND her motorcyle lift into the air like she is going super saiyajin. when i saw this i immediately knew i was in for another disappointment.

Aside from this, the only mildly entertaining scene of the movie was when the crows came out. everything else is as you would expect it, hollywood sugar coated bullshit, not even Mike Epps' satire ( which sucked too ) could save this movie.

Not all of the slashing/gore in the world could save this burning plane of a movie. and the worst part... they left room for YET ANOTHER sequel. someone scoop my eyes out now...

but oh no the Villian just has to talk about how he's unkillable a bunch of times, during the fight. scene 7 Alice is in the white room, all of a sudden the lasers come on and slice the bad guy, but alice is save in the nick of time thanks to her her jobber share aura clone.

Well I kind actually never bought my ticket, my brother bought the ticket for me online, so that I could see it with him. it was me and three of my brother's friends seeing the movie. out all the movies that were out he just happens to pick this one to see.


The best part about going to the theater last friday was seeing the trailers

Technically those zombies weren't super powered. The zombies in the crate were enhanced. But yeah, just the sheer pressure of thousands of zombies continually pressing against the chain link fence should have done the trick.

If you see only one movie this year, no offense but you should get out more and see more movies.

The movie had my back to the back of the chair and my arms were at the armrests of said chair.

I laughed, I cried, I went through the whole range of human emotions. Then the Iron Man Trailer ended and Resident Evil Extinction started.

A tour de force. Something like this only comes along once in a century. Yes, that's how good my popcorn was, it was buttered just right just the way I like it.

Nice things I can say? The women in the movie were not ugly. And I laughed at the Umbrella Satellite powered by what looked like a PS2 Memory Card. Oh and the Iron Man preview was dope which had nothing to do with this movie but still. In one movie going experience I saw Iron Man, James Rhodes (who becomes War Machine) and the monster Doctor Isaac turned into was credited at the end of the movie as being called Tyrant, you know that guy who appears in Jill Valentine's MVC2 super. And of course, the Capcom logo on the big screen. Well last night was the closest I've ever gotten to seeing MVC2 the movie. :looney:

Oh, of course she exists, that's not the point. She doesn't exist in THIS MOVIE (meaning she never shows up or is even mentioned), and that's why I'm partially disappointed.

Yeah, maybe we'll see her again, but who knows? Wikipedia is saying if there's a sequel, it might be concentrated on Claire. Since Jill knows Chris, yes, it's possible we'll see her, who knows.

I dont think the setting should have been "post" apocalypse it should have been either "right" where they left off on part two or around that time frame. It would have made more sense at the end when Alice said she was coming for Wesker and the rest of umbrella and laid some groundwork for a 4th part and a "real reason" to go see it (Alice and her army of clones fights the infection around the world and destroys the Umbrella corp. while looking for a cure to save the world from zombie and monster attacks) <--- Hell they could even spin off a series with that one :)

Super psychic had trouble with a Tyrant monster but could stop fire and blow up 1000 crows, or instead just blow up his head or something. I think if Anderson would kept the movie orginal and not added any characters from the game it wouldn't not been a bad movie, but ever since the second one kinda dash all of those hopes. I think the director was just browsing the internet and happened upon some fat guy's fanfic of what his movie would be like, and decided to borrow the ideas and stick his wife in it.

Number one sucked, but had zombies at least. Number two had zombies for....20-30 minutes I think (Actual fighting and what not, not shots of them). I won't see three for any reason, I only saw these two on TV just to make myself angry.

The Resident Evil series is about SURVIVAL HORROR. Not about a bio enhanced hottie (General opinion, I think she's fucking ugly) with dual chain guns mowing down zombies to crappy heavy metal and doing karate chops when she fucking feels like it. Zombies are so pointless in these flicks, it reminds me of the putties in Power Rangers. They need to stick big Z's on their chest and have at it.

Why the fuck did Nemesis go good? Why was their a stereotypical black guy saying Oh Snap! type remarks every .5 seconds? Why were the cool characters like Jill in the game made to look like complete shit next to Alice? I'm afraid none of these questions shall be answered.

Next to Uwe Boll this guy is the worst director, Disney could do a better interpredation of Resident Evil.

The first RE movie was awesome! It had some decent scares, plus if you used your imagination, it could easily be considered to be a sidestory for the games! Well, that is until the sequel threw a bunch of stuff out of the window.

The second one was good, but it felt more like an action movie with zombies than a horror movie. Obviously, it lost lots of points for giving poor Nemesis a conscience in the end! At least they managed to nail Jill Valentine properly (heh, I said "nail Jill Valentine")!

Hell, with all the negative talk about Extinction, I guess I might as well save money and wait for a torrent of the film. :bluu:

Yeah, maybe we'll see her again, but who knows? Wikipedia is saying if there's a sequel, it might be concentrated on Claire. Since Jill knows Chris, yes, it's possible we'll see her, who knows.

Lol they have other things to worry about in the movie than to talk about Jill out of nowhere. Not even the Anderson camp is stupid enough to kill her off just 'cuz they want to feature another character. In Blade 2 should they have started talking about the doctor in part one? Man sequels replace women all the time. Besides, I like Jill and am glad she wasn't in this train wreck. Ditto for Leon. Poor Wesker though...

As someone who's never played the games (I played like 5 min of RE1 back in the day and hated it), I actually liked this movie.

Alice = Jean Gray (and the FOX KIDS "I can't use my powers without fainting" pussy Jean Gray) and LOL Clonez!!! aside, I thought it was pretty cool.

I too also laughed at the fact that over a thousand zombies couldnt knock over a garden fence, I mean atleast in part2 they had a proper barricade blocking the oubreak, but that fence in this lol.

LOL at the respawning zombies out the crate, that was quite stupid indeed, but then Alice did have cheats on as well with infinite ammo and invincibility activated.
