Yep, i'm doing this again, just like i did with Disgaea 2
Releases Date is September 25, or the same day Halo 3 is out

I actually have an interview at GS/EB on the 3rd for part time seasonal help. Probably mornings before I go to Sears and on my days off (at sears)

I kinda' hope I get it. A few of the dudes that work there are cool, plus, I miss working at GS/EB...then again, it mighta' been the company I kept there and who I worked with, and not the actual company EB/GS them selves...

I miss my old store. All the managers were helluh chill, we had a lot of regulars come in, plus 90% of our regular customers were competent when it came to RPG's and Fighters. Which I enjoyed.

As for Soul Nomad .. eh, it kind of looks exactly like every other NIS game. I dunno, I mean, I guess they're all at least decent, but seeing the exact same art style and type of sprite designs and screens. It's kind of boring. I'd like to see them change up the aesthetics a bit. It seems like the same thing as Disgaea, except this one has an Ogre Battle type of style to the combat.

its pretty fun imo. I like the whole squad concept, putting different units in different positions to give them a new attack. back to playing it, Ill give a nice review of the game later on.

ok a little advice, when GIG asks if you want power, just say no. Trust me just say no!!!

All in all i like the game. Its not like disgaea at all, And the leveling seems to be a lot more balanced.

What happens if you get taken over by Gig? Does the game just end or can you play on?

Ill just say it out loud cause i dont think Ill spoil anything.

All that happens is Gig takes over your body and the screen goes black and says BAD ENDING.
At first it was cool cause you get an item that levels you up by 2000 levels instantly. the bad side to this is that after the battle GIG takes over and yo get the bad ending screen.

I personally didn't like the disgaea series, but I know they can go for stupid amounts of money on ebay, thus why I'm buying them.

Disgaea 1 isnt THAT rare. Atlus' official site has it for 30 bucks.

NIS game + Advance Wars + Disgaea sounds like a combo for win.. I'll pick this up eventually maybe. I havent looked at anything about it, to be honest. Only heard..

But then again, I dont know when I'd have time to play it. I'm still playing Disgaea 2 and Phantom Brave.

LOL, really? Good shit man, I work at the mall (Sears), it's pretty gay. I'm originally from the Seattle area but got into some money issues so moved in with some family till I got back on my feet.

Fighting game wise though, I play pretty much everything but my mains are in my sig, I play MvC2 as well, but only casually. I use to love the game now hate it...I play ST too and a bunch of KOF's but yeah...uh..yuh...I'll just shoot you a pm or something. lol

Disgaea was an excellent game. I easily put 250+ hours into it. Definitely pick it up.

I'll be getting Soul Nomad tomorrow. I hope its good.

I saw this an Growlanser in the BX a while ago an ended up with GL. I regret it now after hearing SN is like Disgea an AW. That an GL's gameplay was shity, well the 2 hours worth i played.

Aren't those cheap copies of Disgaea the 2nd run? I don't know how much of an issue that is to you guys but I have the original run. I don't think there are any differences in the packaging or anything though so it's prob not a big deal. BTW, just got soul nomad gonna start it up in a bit. Hopin it's as good as the others.
