Sens first line were asleep all game, Leafs were on their game for the first 40 minutes. Then they went into typical Leafs behaviour, and basically stopped skating. Raycroft has proven that he can't save a game on his own, and it didn't help that Heatley chose the best possible time to wake up. They aren't paying 45$ million over 6 years for nothing, I guess.

I dunno, I wasn't watching the game THAT attentively, I was reading at the same time... The first line seemed rather sluggish, especially Spezza, except for when the goals were scored. We weren't playing that much better, but we were up 3-2 after 2. Though that SHOULD mean nothing to a Leafs fan.

Yeah, I admit that Raycroft made some absolutely amazing saves, highlight reel shit for sure, but the goals he DID let in seemed a bit soft IMO (especially Vermette's, which might be why the boos started then), although like I said, I wasn't giving the game my full attention. As for goalie-bashing... when we know our D is terrible and has been for the longest time, we expect the goalie to bail us out or something. Even if Raycroft got something like 37 wins last year, he had one of the worst GAAs in the league, something like 32nd. He makes show-stopping saves, but his D won't help him out, and with the AMOUNT of shots he's gonna need to stop eventually one will make it through.

I just wanna see how well Toskala does. My roommate is a diehard Sharks fan and praised the fuck out of their goalie rotation last year. He might do something cool.

i just submitted a request at the student union to have the marvel and x-men machine fixed and set off of high damage to level 2(of 4 possible settings). hopefully that gets done some time.
spiral can't cope w/o an AA assist unless she has sent drones backing her up, and even then she gets raped. It's the beginning of the round that makes AA assists so needed, on top of the rest of the fight. just think about how many ways mag+assist can rape you if you don't have an AA assist. Also, spiral doom isn't a very good lock down. Duc used to play spiral sent BH. but he mainly plays spiral sent cc or spiral cable sent(g). drones are all you need. and doom BH is really easy to counter now btw. that shit got dropped in like, 2k1

accent core is quite diff from XX reload or slash imo. the system is pretty much the same, but the characters change the most in this sequel. you have EX moves for one. and the move attributes are changed, for instance, may's jumping d+dust is god tier in that shit.
and order sol is changed a lot from slash version. but he still is top tier.

The hard part is the whole combo. Since I can only do it 1 / 1000 I couldn't tell you. I guess it's getting charge after the cross up, meaning the cross up has to hit really deep, and the c.short s.jab has to be delayed as much as possible, and then the s.jab being cancelled as late as possible as well. Dont bother with this combo.. just do cross up into mash electricity

usually, characters with more range or can get in faster are way better (at least it was like that in Budokai 3 and both Tenkaichi games). Janemba/Piccolo/Nail/Vegeto are all always really good because they have that and other shit.

basically, if you try to rc electricty from neutral standing you will always whiff a jab. Also be careful. As for the game mechanics, there is no way to tell... I just hope they dont concentrate on graphics leaving behind crucial things like gameplay and mechanics... Honestly, I dont really care if certain characters make a comeback or not... Ryu and Ken are there, and thats all good... Everyone has preferences and there is no way to please everyone... it would especially suck if they tried to please everyone by developing a cast of 50+ characters and not spending enought time making the characters deep... I wouldnt be surprised if apart from ryu and ken they had an all new roster, maybe with one or two comebacks...

Me and my friend are looking to buy 2 sticks so we can play CvS2 and actually not be bad at this game. I don't really know anything about arcade sticks or where to get them.

I think we want to get the sticks for dreamcast, because we don't have a ps2 and a dreamcast is real easy (and cheap) to get off of a friend. Plus, we could just burn CvS2 I think, which would help in the money department (poor students ftw)

Does anyone know where we can get fairly cheap dreamcast sticks? Is anyone in Ottawa make them? We're not looking for like top of the line, nice ass custom sticks. Just something that works well enough to practise on. Any stick tips in general, where to get the sticks etc etc are welcome.

focus on the stand... follow it rotating in one direction (towards you or away from you, whichever you catch first)... now as soon as the stand reaches either the right or left end, make your eye trace back the same route it just came from and thats where the illusion occurs... your eye either follows in its original path, or it reverses and goes the other way... if you keep doing this at both ends (right and left), if you want, it will seem like its not making a 360 at all, but just a 180 and back

Me and my friend are looking to buy 2 sticks so we can play CvS2 and actually not be bad at this game. I don't really know anything about arcade sticks or where to get them.

I think we want to get the sticks for dreamcast, because we don't have a ps2 and a dreamcast is real easy (and cheap) to get off of a friend. Plus, we could just burn CvS2 I think, which would help in the money department (poor students ftw)

i dont buy this "illusion". if you move your mouse to the left or right of the center of the page, the globe will change direction almost instantly. and in the event that the mouse is some indicator or something that fools your eyes, cover up that portion of the screen and the globe will still react to your mouse positions. so my conclusion is that there's something changing it's 'rotation' at some sort of interval, not an illusion

That's a great idea. You can use the link Khiem gave you, but those guys take a long time. Roblee (Ilavos) can make them for you. I think he charges near 100$.

In training what happens during the rounds is more important.
