Even then, I think it'd be a hard sell. New Capcom games haven't fared well in arcades in Japan. They may be highly xenophobic towards an old property(SF) being reintroduced through a foreign company (Capcom of USA, who currently own the rights to SF, if I'm not mistaken).

Arcades are also incredibly dead here in the US. It would take a huge multi-million $$ effort on Capcom's part to push the game via an extinct scene.

I personally like sf3 ng and 2nd impact more than 3s. Unlike your view imo the 1st two sf3 games play more like a traditional sf game than 3S. Don't get me wrong I love 3S, but its feels a little different from sf2.

I'll still prolly buy it because it may be several years before they upgrade it in the future.
