Looks only matter during the meeting portion. Most people won't even talk to people they're not attracted to. The key to getting someone who normally wouldn't talk to you is putting yourself in a situation where they can.

For example. The work place. This is one of the main spots where someone you're attracted to will notice and talk to you almost daily. This is how most people learn about the personalailty of a person without even trying to. They may not be attracted to you by appearance, but they'll get to see other qualities that might make them give you more attention.

Just because the random girl on the street doesn't notice you doesn't mean the statement is false.

More often than not though, there's a balance somewhere in between. Looks matter some, yes, but looks aren't the only factor. How much they matter varies from person to person.

The poll selections suck. Looks do matter, and love does exist. Why is it always listed as one or the other?

If you are ugly, don't expect to find love unless you find someone equally as grotesque as you. If you look good, not only will you find love easier, but you'll find a lot more 'not loves' which will keep you happy until the real one comes along. Also, as a good looking person you'll likely end up with someone better looking as well.

Take sex for instance: there's only 3 reasons why people who don't know each other have sex. A)Guy has huge dick or girl has big tits/ass.
