lol i just played them overtop of each other (at the right times to match up) and it's suspiciously similar. nice though, chrono trigger had great music, and the chrono cross soundtrack is the best i've ever heard, though i haven't listened to much other vg music.

New trend? naa this has been going on for awhile, best vg music sample was jedi mind tricks and max payne, lol he actually had sound quotes from one of the boss fights along with the music lol.
Wait I been out the loop with Rap but Jayz got a new album? I thought he quit? meh I only like his early stuff anyway.

American Gangster is an 'inspirational' album. American Gangster (the film) compelled him to get off his young lazy ass and do something. I guess it touched him.
Oh, and love the avatar.

Listen to the Song Climb Trees its on Imeem and it straight up samples the Final Fantasy 6 Intro theme. The one with terra, wedge and vicks walking across the snow in magitek suits.

Seems like they looped right at the point that someone who knows what it is would pick up on it. Bone Thugs used 3 songs from eternal champions for the album East 1999. They didn't hide it at all either. It sounds a tad different from the original, but it's a straight rip for the most part. Don't know how they got away with that one. IIRC, as long as you change the tone by even the slightest amount and add a different beat, it can be recognized as an original piece of work and you avoid getting sued. Can somone correct me on that?
