try out that chip to see if it works, I bought something similar to it a while ago but it didn't work. maybe this one will. but this thing is twice the price of the one I bought before. a way to get the 5V is to use the usb from the ps2 to power the joystick.

I hope you buy the chip. I'm really interested to know whether or not it works. keep me posted. thanks.

actually i asked a happ controls representative and he said its 5V +5% -5% meaning you should only use a 4.75 to 5.25 source. Even if it works with 3V i wouldn't reccomend it because it could damage it. but if the optic are like light bulb (they light no matter what voltage they are getting, all that matter is that it lights) then it really shouldn't be a problem.
any electronics in the house? I am training electrician. am i the only one here?

The board you linked to will work.

Some p360's will work fine on 3.3v, but some will not. Running a p360 on 3.3v will NOT damage it, but it may not work properly. Most often, you will have problems like the stick not returning to center, or not activating reliably when moved. With the board you linked, it will definitely work.

I know, but 3.3v is not enough power and won't damage P360. I want 100% power for Happ P360 has 5volt. It'll work smoothest move P360. I wish I become a science, math and electronic

you know about Frankenstein a movie. the weird science person knew about a lighting is enough power 100% than there electronic.

opips2, I've been meaning to say this for a while... I know you received a lot of flack from people (me included) when you first joined, but I've gotta tell ya... your boundless enthusiasm and endearingly broken english have wholeheartedly won me over.

You're a pretty good builder and I love reading your posts, dude.

So opips2 did you install the chip yet? I bought something slightly similar to what you have but I would like to know how it turns out before having the part arrive, to give me an idea of what would need to be done.
