Alright, I've been looking at different ways to play VF5 online and wanted to know if there was a way to use an Hrap2 on a 360 with any kind of pcb modd. I was thinking about getting a VF5 stick and modding it with sanwa parts but I already saw a pic of the inside of one of those and it looks a bit messy to switch out the buttons not to mention that you have to dremel some of the stick. I've never really heard about someone using a custom for the 360, always a DOA stick with a modd. Anyways, what do you think is the best way to go? I just want all sanwa parts and to be able to play without any lag from the controller, I know lag is still an issue online but I at least don't want to think that it's partially the controllers fault If you can answer a few of those questions I'd really appreciate it. THANKS

Any stick can use a 360 pcb has its brains. For most of the xbox360 controllers, you have to wire two wires to each button, and it has to be used by itself. Lots of mods have already been done doing exactly that. Pick a stick casing and buttons and stick you want, ripout whatever electronics are in it, and wire in your pad.

If you want to get kinky with it, there are lots of options. codyk (kod on VFDC forums) posted up an article on installing a pcb into a HRAP3 on VFDC, so he could play the same stick on PS3 or Xbox360 at the flip of a switch.

But honestly, if you have an idea what you want, have someone make it for you. Check the trading outlet threads; all of them can (should) be able to make sticks for xbox360 to whatever specs you like. Unless you already have a lot of time free, experience, and tools, you'll end up paying way more to do it yourself, and you'd get a finished product much sooner.

AFAIK, none of the xbox controllers lag, and theres no reason wiring would ever add lag; find a builder who makes sticks, order what you want and get playing.

Alright, guess having one modded for me would be the best action since I really have no experience (outside just switching out sanwa parts on an hrap) with pcb's or soldering anything . I pm'd koi a little while ago and now waiting to see what he says. So, he should be able to modd an HRAP3 to work on both consoles 360/ps3 without any lag issues? He showed a pic of a virtua fighter high grade stick with that modd so I think an Hrap should be no different.

It should be no different; if anything, itll prolly be easier because there is tons more room in an HRAP3 (sorry for incorrectly saying it was a HRAP3). Just be aware that doing the multiple PCB route is more difficult that just a normal gut and replace, and not everyone can do that kind of mod. If you want a dedicated xbox360 stick, as far as I know, all of the builders do that.

I already have an hrap2 with a lag-free converter for a ps3 so I just wanted to know the price difference in just getting a dedicated or dual for a xbox 360. I'm starting to lean more towards the vfhg since it already comes with all sanwa parts and is vf5 button layout or something like that. Thanks for your help.
