View Full Version : So what emu is used mostly for playing CPS3 ROMs online?

Sorry if this was asked many times, but recently my MAME ++ emu has been running slow at times for some odd reason...so what MAME or other emu ver. is currently used widely for online play on GGPO? Thanks

Nebula. Only emulator that runs with 0 framelag with sound.

As far as I know, GGPO doesn't have support for CPS3 games.

i haven't kept up to date with everything, but as far as i remember, ElSemi's CPS3 emulator doesn't have netplay. so if you want to play that online, then mame is the only way to go.

I jumped the gun on my reply. CPS3 isn't supported at all for GGPO. GGPO uses a modified Final Burn Alpha client and only supports Marvel vs. Capcom 1 and Street Fighter Alpha 2.

If you are going to be playing CPS3 online on your computer, Mame++ or Nebula over Kaillera (preferably p2p) is your best bet.

On a side note I'm hoping that Nebula 2.26 is out sooner than later. Maybe the holdup is that ElSemi's merging it with CPS3 emulator?
