What is a good responsive 6-button gamepad for fighting games?
I had interact propad 6 blue years ago and it was always a blast using it to play sf games until it broke. I moved on to microsoft sidewinder which is a good pad but not for fighting games. Right now i have Saitek p880 and I don't like it.
I wish I can buy another propad blue maybe sidewinder in a store somewhere.
Before anyone ask, I have DC agetec arcade stick with converter to work on PC and i also have the fighting stick 3 which is collecting dust.

I know for a fact a lot of PC gamers use a Logitech Dual Action gamepad. Personally, I use a Microsoft Sidewinder Pro gamepad. It's older, and is a bit awkward at first, but I got used to it that it's more or less second nature to me now. But it does have 6 buttons on the face and 2 shoulder buttons. The d-pad is just squishy and weird. I can still eke out dps on wakeup and everything.

The sega saturn pad always was a favorite for me. It's 6 button layout was great. But don't know if could work for what you have in mind.

that's great since i just happen to have a 3 in 1 converter that include saturn. Which of the saturn pads would you guys recommend? The super pad 8, st propad, or others? Ebay seems to be the only option to get it from.

Japanese Saturn pad.

Can you be a little bit more specific? I visited play-asia and there are so many different kinds and they're all out of stock.

The SFAE gamepad is also a decent option.

I bought one with DOC'S writing in the middle at Starland like this (http://cgi.ebay.com/Sega-Saturn-Docs-Black-Controller-Multibutton_W0QQitemZ180054322556QQihZ008QQcategor yZ3654QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem). The d-pad is very responsive. I will order some japanese saturn pads on ebay.

Even the Superpad 8 is good. It is readily available and even has Sirlin's approval (http://www.sirlin.net/.blog/2004/06/dual-analog-controllers.html).

I really want a new japanese import saturn pad but it seems unavailable on play-asia and ebay. Anywhere else to get them? wish lik-kang was still up. how does MK-80116 compare?

It's exactly the same.

10 years ago or so, there were plenty of saturn styled pads for pc that were awesome. I still have my logitech pad somewhere. Those were some good times.
