I went on ebay to look for MvC2 for PS2 on ebay, and they only had about 33 of them, and they were all selling for about $80-120!!!! What the hell?! I understand that it's rare, but I'm not going to drop 100 bucks to get one game. Is there anywhere I can find this game for a little bit cheaper? Thanks.

Thread title is very misleading. That's the price you'll find everywhere... best bet is Craigslist. You might find a clueless mom selling all her son's games.

Once in a great while, you'll see them on ebay with BINS of $60. Still wish I had my sealed one 4 years back.

Best thing you can do epp1e is check GameStop's site, and check the avalability of the game in your area every day or call and ask each one.

They're really not much cheaper at GameStop.

Unfortunately, Mink, this really is what they're going for.

Who the fuck would pay for the ps2 version? That's like buying the other marvel games for ps1.

Once again, Craigslist! There was this mom who was trying to sell all her son's games behind his back in my area, so I got FF7 for like 5 bucks & CvS2 for 5 bucks as well... amongst other games I picked up from her.

Which versions are valuable? I picked up a DC copy for £20 here in the UK. Is the PS2 version the only one that goes for bucks? Because it's awful.

the even more inferior xbox version is actually most rare because it was relased last and had the shortest shelf time.

dreamcast at ~$30 + controller adapters (what are they for ps2 -> dc, like $20 apiece?) + mvc2 for $30 to $0 is still a better deal than just a gimped version of the game for $100+

Also check the Gamestops / Gamecrazies once a while...you might find some guy who is trading a whole shit load of games for crappy trade in value.

This person was trading in a Suikoden II for 5 dollars, I gave him 10 dollars for it, got all the scratches removed using their industrial grade machine and sold it on ebay for 80 dollars....

That's funny. I got mine for a half-eaten sandwich. Huge pick up I s'pose.

I also got marvel for free. It's called the internet.

for real. there is no reason any video game fan shouldn't have a dreamcast.

Is the dreamcast version better than the ps2 version? And you guys keep saying they're $60, but I can't find them for cheaper than 70. Gamestop is 70 + shipping, ebay is all in the 80s to 100.
