Anyway what is the main Fighting Game you play?

Do you mostly play Marvel vs. Capcom 2? Third Strike? King of Fighter XI?

Whether competitively or/and just for fun, what is your main fighting game?


Mine use to be Street Fighter III: Third Strike but now I'm leaning towards Guilty Gear XX ^ Core.:angel:

i'd like to pick up kof xi and ngbc as well soon (already got kof and preordered ngbc, and i still need to get a ps2 to play em on!) but the closest comp would probably be a 40-minute drive away in pittsburgh; washington & jefferson's campus is in walking distance from my place (plus i'll most likely be attending there next year), though i'm not quite sure there'd be a decent crowd there for fighters, let alone SNK

I play CvS2 because it's the only game that I can get even a meager level of competition at in this area. It's hard to get competitive at 3rd Strike when the nearest machine is hours away, broken down, and doesn't attract anybody anyway.

My team is C-Sagat, Guile, and Sakura (2). No, I didn't set out to intentionally whore the top tier; it just sort of happened that way as I experimented switching characters in and out to test their effectiveness for my style.

Cool to see that the game actually has a solid scene somewhere. The game is still played in areas but it's hard to find a scene in the US where CVS2 is played more than 3S or GG.

Though, with KOF 98 Ultimate Match, Sengoku BASARA X and Samurai Spirits SEN, to start with, that could stand to change. Especially in the case of KOF 98, because that's one of the first games I ever really played in-depth.
