NCSoft ( yes, the City Of Heroes folks ) are developing an AWESOME fighter by the looks of this, the look is cel-shaded in the Viewtiful Joe style, looks to be a team format 3 on 3 fighter. Could be pretty vicious!

I love the Viewtiful Joe art-style but this just looks so unfinished. Also the character portraits seem to be drawn by an amateur artist.

It looks interesting enough. Hopefully they'll be able to take care of such things like "prettying it up a bit" before the game's official release. Cuz I will admit, as much as it looks interesting, it DOES look kinda rough around the edges. Or maybe that could be due to the quality of the vid...

Those people don't seem to know what to do in their own fighting game. Graphics look,..bad, Joe looked better than this on my PSP.

Is that Dragonforce playing? Also those do sound like SNK clips, the weird saiyan hair guy had Kyo's sounds.

-To be faster
-Better art
-To be careful not to steal team attacks from Justice Gakuen, I think I sawa little bit of that happening..

Other than that, it could be amusing, it's really early in development I expect good stuff.

I love the artstyle sure it needs hella work but the basic celshaded-ness of it is a fantastic idea and the gameplay looks really fun...dunno bout that VC though:wasted:

Regardless of how the game looks or plays, I can't really understand why NCSoft would want to explore this particular market (unless this shit is big in korea). Its pretty surprising they're making a game like this. Maybe if its moderately successful other big devs can make fighting games on the side :(

Game looks fucking terrible from screenshots though :sad:. Doesn't look too good for 30% done even but character designs are interesting, so its not as if there isn't some potential here.

I got a lot of mixed feelings about SFIV but I know for sure that it'll look 100x better than this game..

The style looks really visceral (I like the blood splatter effects) but damn they jacked a lot of stuff from Rival Schools/PJ..

Exactly, from the screenshots it's actually quite hard to immediately distinguish background from character.
