I have one of the yellow Namco arcade sticks that I've been using to play Pc games with via a converter. It works perfectly, and I've never had a problem with it.
Today, however, I actually plugged it into a PS2 to play (for the first time) Arcana Heart with a friend. For no reason that I can see, it started randomly hitting 'up' lots. Needless to say this made it hard to play with. I've tried plugging it back into the PC and it resumed working fine.
I can't understand why a PSX stick would work better on PC through a converter than on a real PS2. Can anyone shed any light on the situation, or hoopefully even suggest a fix?
