IronGuy Infinite from jumping? =)

Ok, so I think I've seen Ironguy players get into his infinite somehow when the jump and do down fierce punch and low kick. For some reason I think I read you can only do this on couching opponets. Is that right? What is that infinite and how are ways you can get into with standing opponents? :wgrin:

Maybe you mean his jumping u/f Hk into the infinite?

uh idk. I watched a combo vid a wrote down what it looks like...

tri jump lk, d+hp, ad/f s.lk, c.hp, sj.lp, lp {infinite}

tri jump lk, lk, land c.lk, c.hp, sj. lp {infinite}

tri jump d+hp, ad/f c.lk, c.hp, launcher, sj. n/hp go into infinite

I'am probably missing something in two of these but idk. I guess I'll practice them. I think they are called overhead setups or something....

r u sure it is c.hp and not c.mp ??

those look like japanese set ups for the infinite, they involve super jump canceling a c.mp. I've never heard or seen someone be able to sjc a c.hp

yeah maybe your right. I mean I haven't tried them so idk. Idk if they are Japanese or not. all I know is I saw them on a vid. I can sjc. the c.mp most of the time but after the first lp nothing else connects....

that is bcuz u need to ad/f after the sjc lp then lp up+hp
