MAS Super Pro DC converter add-on

I bought a MAS super pro stick ps2 compat. only. Now I want to also make it DC compat. How do I do this? Can I just buy a cord and hook it up? Do I need to re-wire the stick? If there is a DC compat. thing, where can I buy one? Thanks :)
