not sure if this is supposed to be here.
anyways i have a single 1.35V tolerant LED put into a socket with a 51ohm resistor inside. how much voltage do i need to power it? im trying to use a AAA battery but im guessing its not enough....

1.35 V threshold? That's an, uh, infrared LED?
AAA =1.5 volts output and you need 5-15 mA's of TEH POWAH.
A proper resistor for 10 mA use would be like... 15 ohms.
(1.5V - 1.35V) / 10 mA.
And make sure you connect it the right way around.

Damn i guess i need to take it out of the socket... i need to get some solder and an iron.
How much voltage does those big round batterys have?
