Not sure if this belongs in the trading outlet, but I figure it isn't since I'm not the one selling them.

Geeks.com is selling the Madcatz XBLA Gamestick for only $10! I've been checking the site from time to time waiting for it to drop from $20 (I'm a cheapass and couldn't find them at BB and CC) and it finally did so I'm sharing this with everyone here cause I'm sure a lot of you would be interested. From what I've read in the padhacking thread, these PCBs are common ground so it's a nice alternative from finding a microcon. Plus, you get the 3 extra XBLA games as a bonus and it'll cost less than a microcon!

Not sure if the price will go back up after New Years or whatever, but it probably will, so if you want them, I suggest you grab them quickly. Buying them in sets of 2 will save you the most on shipping from what I've fooled around with using the shipping calculator. Tried adding 1000 into the cart to see how many they have left, and it says they have 707 of these left.

Oh well, on to the links:

-Some discussion on it in the padhacking thread. (http://forums.shoryuken.com/showthread.php?p=4509175#post4509175)
-Xbox Reflex Arcade (http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=71103) (less than $5 before shipping in case people are interested in it.)

Nice find

Before I order some of these, do you guys know if the PCB in this thing is bigger, smaller, or the same size as the normal pads? Also, are there any differences in how well the different PCBs work? I know that some have a common ground and some don't. But beyond that, do they all pretty work much the same?

The PCB is pretty big. crackbone recently put up his custom stick that uses both the Madcatz stick and the PSOne dual shock in the custom stick gallery if you want to see a size comparison: http://forums.shoryuken.com/showpost.php?p=4639598&postcount=2999

I ordered a couple 360-atari-esque ones myself. I also got a couple of those Xbox 'arcade' controllers for their pcb.

The minimum shipping charge was more than usual though, at $15. IDK. Still worth it.

That's a great find, looking over the site they offer some shitty 3rd party goods. A joystick for the original Xbox is going for $3.49. Oh hey look! A combination lock for my... psp?

That's a pretty sweet lookin' stick. I think I want to attempt something similar for multi-system support. But that PCB does look pretty big. Not sure if that'd fit in all cases. Maybe I'll just go with the standard pad PCBs after all...
