Projector along with a system selector

I recently bought a projector to put in my room and I figured I had to use a system selector to connect all my consoles, dvd, satellite,... so my question is, is it bad for the projector to switch from one console to another while the projector is on? I have a manual system selector from Gamestop (made by Pelican I think). I was wondering if there could be a lot of noise signal when changing the input signal.

Well what I really meant is the fraction of the second when I press the system selector button to switch to another console, can the signal be noisy to the point where high frequencies are outputted to the projector?
