I bought a cheap mattress set over 7 years ago. It worked, no big deal. Though for about two years now it has sunk in so bad that I woke up cramped and sore. So finally I sad fuck it, and bought a new mattress set.

This place around where I live makes their own mattresses, but actually of better quality. Their prices are lower too because since they make it in store they do not have to pay manufacturing cost.

I thought it was a good deal. I haven't done anything with the new bed, or old bed as of yet. My old one is in my garage. The new one has the sheets on it, but just got it today.

So.........

What should I do to break in the new bed to break it in?

What should I do with the old bed set? :wgrin:

My friend said he is thinking of using the old set as a target for paintball.

Not make stupid THREADS ABOUT IT.

OMG I AM HILARIOUS!!

Srsly though, just dump the old bed somewhere that Hobo's like to hang out. They will eventually claim it as their own.

I was actually thinking about that. Though the hobos here all have fucking sleeping bags and shit. I might do that though...

from SMB:

Four years? Is that all?

We just replaced our queen mattress last month. It's the same mattress my wife was using back when she was attending UCLA, and that was back in '01!

How often do most people replace a mattress? I am still sleeping on my twin mattress from around 94 or 95 I think, and never had any problem.

I think 10 years is the life span of a mattress, of course I am to lazy to google it.

Ah...the shit I post when work is slow.

But I had this mattress since 98. I drug it from California to Virginia, and all over Virginia. The last four years it was really bad though. Shit was sunk in like crazy. Woke up with cramps, and sore as shit. Finally stopped being a cheap ass and bought a new one.

Though my real deal was getting suggestions on a inventive way to get rid of the old one. Giving it to hobos is nice, but if I can get one last hurray out of it it is all good.

Oh and Epple, that chart is wrong in my case. I hardly did my deed on my mattress. I didn't want to sleep in old ass juices. The girls mattress was fair game though. Plus in my younger days I never did it at my spot. Hell if I am going to give some of those crazy woman good information like where I live and shit. :lovin:
