Shit man, i'm freezing my ass off and i'm not liking it! The only thing on my mind is figuring out how the fuck I can stay warm. I have an oil heater, but my room is large and the shit just doesn't heat the whole room. My gf will be coming tomorrow and I don't want her to have to suffer. Any recommendations on heaters, electric rugs, or whatever will help.

Do you... um... have electricity? A normal heating system in your house? The shit doesn't need to heat the whole room, just the area you're in. Turn the heater on and leave it near you? And wrap up in a blanket?
C'mon now.

I've read that a lot of the cold air comes in from windows, they sell stuff called window quilts and they might be able to help out your problem.

I'm wondering if there is any heat. There are heating vents but I think they are just for show. And I'm tired of wrapping up in the blanket, because I want to do other shit than sleep.

I'm with you, its cold as can be out side. I got my heater on full blast, but if I go near my windows, I can feel the cold and my bed is across from my windows. I just paid $5K to replace all my windows in my house and I'd expected it to be better... maybe cause its simply that cold out.

Wear some warm clothes like sweat pants and sweaters/hoodies. Sock the feet and tape up those windows with draft proof plastic. In the same thing but im dealing well just beat the cold back with warm thoughts.

Speaking of warm thoughts, one time I was new to weed and got weed that was laced with pcp and I had no idea what was going on but the fan felt like it was cutting me with blades made of cold, so I turned it off, and was shivering... Then I was like "fuck. think warm thoughts. warm." then I like, thought of a fire, and the next 20 minutes were me dealing with the very lifelike representation of what it would feel like to have my eyeballs on fire.
Long story short I ended up at the hospital but I laugh now to think of how my seasoned self would have handled it.

I recently moved into a new place with wood floor. Its cold here too. I light a candle sometimes and that helps a little. Makes it smell nice too for the lady. Otherwise have fun under the covers.

go to walmart, and get one of those small electric fan heaters. Like 10 or so bucks. Heats rather well. Spend a couple more $$, and you can get one with a thermostat. I have a couple , and they make a room toasty VERY fast. If you have a lot of spare blankets, use them to cover the windows. Ghetto looking, but it helps warm up the room quite a bit as well.

Yeah, dark warm blankets over the room warm up. Even during the summer, these keep out the rays and leave some coolness.
According to my mom I have Central Air in my room, but I barely fucking feel it since my room is pretty big. Either that, or this damned house has the AC/Heat going to all the other rooms and I barely get the rest. Fuck my ventilation.

Rather than replace windows with double-paned argon glass or something, are there any sprays that would help to insulate against the cold? I have a huge-ass window in my room, right next to my bed, and I need a portable heater on top of my house's heating system to stay warm at night.

This may sound weird but if you keep your feet the warmest then your whole body won't be so cold. I usually just grab a old ass blanket or a leather jacket to wear. I have my foot prompt on my power bar right now, which is keeping me warm.

Lucky for you. I live in one of the scummer cities of Ohio where the winter seasons are C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER brutal. Fortunately I bought a $40 tall self supporting Honeywell heater from Walmart a few years back and it STILL works like a charm. It keeps my entire room nice and toasty. Step your shopping game up Catch.

Or if you're lazy, you must understand the hierarchy of the Heat Whores of the human body.
1. Ears. Cover them up with a hooded sweatshirt, turban, blanket, small animal, coonskin cap, fire, or anything else considered warm. You ears almost always feel warm. Why? Because if they aren't warm, the rest of your body can't be either.
2. Feet. Notice all of the extremities steal the most body heat. Try wearing a few pairs of socks, slippers, coonskin shoes, housecat, towel, fire, or a bowl of hot water. If you know your ears are warm, go to the feet next.
3. Rest of the head. Your ears are covered already, now try covering more of your head/neck.
4. Woman. Solicit for warmth. Chances are, if you have a woman and she's not on top of you, she's stealing your heat.

The house where I rent is cheap and my owner is a retarded and the boiler only functions 5% of the time and the house are falling apart. Sometimes in the winter to get warm I would go OUTSIDE.
Here is what I did:
Fill all the holes. You don't want cold air coming from the outside, warm air escaping.
Get a "WeatherWorks" oil filled heater. I have model ch-3030 and it warms up the entire room. It's almost as big as the radiator which is useless, but is much heavier. Anyways, it has wheels and once it "warms up" it's gooooood. :)

I feel your pain. We have oil heat in our house and someone stole our oil out of the tank night before last. Which really sucks because it's super expensive right now. It cost us $800.00 to fill it up. I'm using a DeLonghi electric heater in my room and it's working like a charm. I also have a fairly large room, so you might want to check it out. I don't see a model number or anything on it, but that's the brand name & it's about 2ft tall.

I went out and purchased a reflective heater today, to supplement my oil heater. After cleaning up, i'm going to plug it in.

You need to buy yourself a thick Korean blanket. And place blankets on the outside of the window. That helps.

At least you're not in Japan where house insulation & central heating is teh new.
I have two heaters, two blankets, scarf, wintercap, two shirts + hoodie to keep me warm at night.
But, I remember when I was living in an apartment during university, my room was mad cold because the window was horribly insulated. I couldn't bring sexy back with a freezing harem, so I called Mr. Fix It. He fixed it alright. By taping friggin' saran wrap all over the window. It barely helped.
