Dexter
Monk (Season 1 & 2... it became mediocre after NBC & Universal merged)
The Office
Entourage
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (I'd say it's a rated R Seinfeld, in a way)

I could also see you're into Sci-Fi, so I'd say give Heroes a shot. Also, I'd recommend Sliders, this Sci-Fi show from the 90s that was on FOX.

since everyone is repeating previously stated shows, i will do the same to support the urgency to see these tv shows:

arrested development - the single greatest comedy television show ever.
always sunny in PA - sick twisted brilliance - dayman says so...
the office (both uk and us) - i used to be one of those snobs who said only the uk office was the real office, but starting with season 2 of the us office, it became it's own entity, and a grand one at that. probably my favorite currently running sitcom.
futurama - i don't believe this requires any amount of explanation.
wonder shozen - sick, twisted, subversive humor at it's finest.
extras - if you enjoy the uk office, get extras. the kate winslet episode is by far one of the funniest tv shows i've ever seen.
adventures of brisco county jr - if you are a fan of bruce cambell's, get this, it's so much tongue in cheek, cheesy humor wrapped up into a weird combination of western/sci-fi/comedy/adventure randomness.

i really want to check out "how i met your mother" and "dexter".

Remington Steele - If you like Pierce Brosnan, I recommend checking this show out. I grew watching this private detective show back in the 80's.

Thundercats - I love this show/set. That's all I have to say.

HBO's Rome is worth a shot. Not really into period stuff but everyone is so amazingly fucked up on that show it is hard to pass up. At only two seasons it doesn't take long to get through it all either.

Edited out something.

In Living Color.

The original run was great, but when the dvd boxsets came out, some of the skits were edited and/or removed. Due to all kinds of reasons. IE, there is a skit where Damon Wayans is in a recruiting office for the Army, and it fades to black where there was a parody of the "Be all that you can be" jingle.

Also, a Michael Jackson parody of Black or White is remove due to licensing reasons.
Truthfully, I don't remember that many "best of" episodes when In Living Color was in it's original run.
Though I could be and probably am wrong.

It's still a funny show, but it's something to consider if one were to purchase In Living Color Dvd boxsets.
