Finally, the text on the bottom of the page (that overlaps Petra's feet) reads "Lagerkvist no na wa joushou no akashi, kijo dewa oyobimasen wa." It means something like "This is proof of the ever-victorious name of Lagerkvist; you cannot match it."

Considering how long the first game took to release on console, you'll probably have a good year or so to build a solid following before the second game even releases for PS2.

Provided the changes arent too drastic I don't think it'll be much different than waiting for a Gulity Gear upgrade release or something.

Since the game is a "2", and not an upgrade like Full was, i can see a lot changing in terms of characters moves, and system mechanics. I mean, a fifth button can change a game a lot. (my case in point, the E button in snk).

Lets see here. I see the attention the first one is getting from everyone. Attention well deserved by the way. For what seems like a great game. Only because I've never played it before. Now a sequel is dropping soon. But the new character is the Loli Girl version of Dante. Something I'm in complete support of. So thinking that when the game hits the PS2 I could get some lab time with Full. Instead, not only do I have to learn Full for the sake thereof. I have to learn it in a limited time frame, in anticipation for the sequel, so I can have some familiarity with the game and system. Works for me. Looks like I've found my new lab project.

the new button layout allows you to charge arcana moves while performing homing cancels.

the robot is called テリー淀川, pronounced "terry yodogawa". yodogawa is presumably taken from the large river that runs through osaka city (since catherine speaks in kansai dialect, it's highly likely that she's from osaka).

according to the description on the scan, arcana blast works like a alpha counter... where you burn a super bar in exchange for a invincible reversal. also, it apparently powers up your arcana moves for a limited time period. sounds pretty beastly to me. it sounds like it can only be done from a guarding state, so arcana force will still have its place in the game.

apparently, dorothy's "scarecrow," "lion" and "tin man" will fight alongside her. so far, it sounds like she will is a summoner fighter similar to juda.

arcadia doesn't really explain what's happening in the pic where the doll is attacking liesolette, though. perhaps some kind of catch move?

that's what actually what i was guessing but i'm not really sure yet. i was thinking the mirror arcana might even have some kind of ability to allow users to perform one (or more) special move that the opponent has, but that might be stretching it.

Actually, that sounded negative, it really is a good thing cause if i have a buncha bar, i have more options, and people who waste 4-5 bars by activating are now gonna be owned (since i generally try to save my bars thx to time arcana)

uh dude those are pretty silly points I mean she doesn't have a blade or wear pants, and Chipp doesn't wear a cape also their hair is a different color (Chipp's is like white white and hers is more gray white) also Zenia has a tie and Chipp has emo fishnets.

In any case it's obvious she's a total clone of Zangief-
First for archetypes:
Both are fighting game characters
Both appeared in the sequel for their respective series (SF2, AH2)

Now for appearance:

Maybe they'll make Arcana Blast unsafe though so you can punish their attempts at reversal. Like just HC backwards whenever you see them do an Arcana Blast to avoid it. I guess that just makes for more mind games. No problem there.
