I went through various threads looking for my answer, but couldn't find it, so here it goes.

I have a stick that a friend of mine built for me. It's always had a 360 and it looks like it was built specifically for use with 360 only. Since I was having so much trouble with the 360 on my stick registering corners, I decided to switch to a Competition Stick. I took off the 360 from my controller and put in a competition stick, with it's base and switches and whatnot. I put the receptors on the silver terminals of the switches and noticed it wasn't registering. I tried putting the receptors on each of the gold terminals, and that didn't register either.

I did notice that the button switches have two receptors. One is inserted in of the gold terminals, and the other is inserted on the silver terminal. Do I need 4 more receptors so that I can insert one in the gold terminal and one in the silver terminal as well? Any advice is appreciated. Or if there are any pictures of how the wiring should be and what receptors are supposed to go in what terminals, so that I can compare with my stick. Thanks in advance!

there should be 3 plugs on a micro switch one says NO one says NC and one says CM(i think) u put one wire to the NO so the button is normally open and one to the common which is CM(i think) u need 2 wires from each button unless the pcb u have is common ground then u can daisy chain the commons together

Yeah I understand that much, but how about the switches on the actual stick. I only have one receptor for each of the 4 switches(up, down, left, right). My buttons register, but not the switches on the stick

you need two quick disconnects for each microswitch. One goes on the tab that is shaped like this:

_____

and the other goes on the tab that is closest to that one.

The switches on happ sticks are the same as switches on happ buttons. You need the direction + ground wired up.

Hopefully you had 5 wires that came off the 360. One ground, and 4 directions. You need to daisy chain that ground wire around to each microswitch. I like to use the side terminal for ground (the one that is kind of alone). Then the one closest to side terminal (middle one) is where each of your directions will go.

Anyone have a picture of what the daisy chain looks like?

Might be slightly difficult to see, but follow the red wire, thats the chain.
