Sometimes on craigslist.org you run into weird shit. But this has got to be the shittiest excuse for a videogame to ever cross my path. and i'm a fan of Chubby Cherub (http://www.seanbaby.com/nes/w20-15.htm). This post (http://chicago.craigslist.org/tfr/183185812.html)on craigslist was the catalyst to my collision with the portal of suck known forevermore as Galloping Ghost Productions (http://www.gallopingghost.com/). They are developing a game (set for release this year!!!) "similar to the older Mortal Kombat games" called Dark Presence and were looking for" actors". it is basically a remake of mortal kombat, with the same technology ( i.e. animated high res gifs) and other "revolutionary" elements. seems like they are so confident in their product that a sequel (!) is in the works, too!!!!

Don't lambast it just yet. It will probably be a huge piece of shit and the website makes it sound like the developers were in suspended animation since the late 80s BUT


Veil is fully chromakeyed! 236 basic moves consisting of 12,105 frames.

12000 frames??? I don't think a single character in 3S topped 500 frames. Also the resolution is really high. If it isn't some elaborate joke (it can't be T_T) then its going to be interesting seeing what it moves and plays like before we throw it away.
