Now, I never belived this stuff was a "cure" for the cold, only that it was full of vitamins to prevent or shorten the duration of a cold. Apparently, some folk saw it another way...

And that's the bottom line. When you're feeling down, you want to take stuff that feels good for you. Airborne feels good for you (it tastes pretty good for you, too).
I dunno about you but the grapefruit one tasted like crap. lol

You don't even need a proof of purchase to file a claim? Looks like an easy way for someone to make 60 bucks...

You do need some sort of proof of purchase (online receipt, place of purchase document, post-sale receipt, credit card statement, etc). This is not an easy $60.

No you don't. That's why they limit it to six.

"But if you don't have a receipt, you can still get a refund on up to six products. The company will give you $10.50 per box of Seasonal Airborne, $2.75 per box of Gummi Airborne, and $6.99 for all other Airborne products"

Sorry, I think I misinterpreted #6 on the airborne.com FAQ. That's insane. People are going to rape this broken system.

Hell I might go out and BUY 6 boxes of Airborne just for the sake of getting it for free... It has vitamins and shit in it, so it's not BAD for me, why not?

Yup. And I don't see a household limit so I'm going to get my wife to fill it out and pass it on to everyone I know lol.

It's designed by a schoolteacher with no knowledge of human physiology or microbiology, so you know it will work great!

Alright, who filled out the form for a refund? Don't deny it.

i always thought it worked for me, not in curing a cold once I had one but in preventing one when I am feeling run down and on the verge of sickness

I did, but on the same note I've bought it more than once for my mother (she's a vitamin nut). I have tried Airborne myself, but considered it to be on the same level as a placebo with vitamins in it and never bothered to take it again.

I used to work at Rite-Aid 3-4 years ago when this shit became popular. At the time, it was only like $5, and it sold so damn well that they increased the price a couple of times. I remember people buying 6-7 at a time, raving about how it really works.

I kinda feel sorry for all the wasted money they spent, but at least you can get the refund on 6.

Yeah, that's what my wife and I did today, not to mention everyone at my work heh -- suckers don't require a receipt, so why not -- it's an easy $63. :looney::wgrin::rofl:

where does it claim this??? i never saw it say it on the sold product...was it in a commercial or something???

there is no cure for the cold or flu in the medical community, so like for a company to claim that would be...funny? but i guess if thats actually what they did then HAHAHAHA...

I still can't understand how a company, who obviously knows how to make money, would roll out such a rushed/security-free refund system. They are basically saying, "We have $23 million to give away, first come-first serve."
